Over the last four years, I have established myself with a growing customer base in both the South Derbyshire and South Notts areas. My business is quite unique from other competitors, as I don’t just set-up and repair computers or set-up and repair TV's, but I do both. I believe this gives me a leading advantage over many of my competitors and with the recent growth of internet
enabled smart TV’s, smart phones and wi-fi enabled devices, it is important to get the right person in for the job who has all the necessary skills and experience in troubleshooting broadband, electronics, TV/Audio, computers and home wi-fi networking. Why choose a small independent specialist such as myself, rather than going to a shop?
•I am not trying to sell you any additional equipment or trying to get you to replace your old PC. I am not a reseller for any computer software or hardware company, I can therefore provide you with genuine unbiased advice on what services and products are best for your computing needs, backed up by over twenty years experience in IT. Very often your PC will just require a service and additional memory, and I can have it running much faster for you, like new. This is obviously a far cheaper solution than having to replace it with a brand new PC at three or four times the cost.
•I have been a member of the Derbyshire Trusted trader scheme since December 2011. As part of being a member, I am required to leave a feedback card on completion of all jobs, to allow customers to rate my work and provide feed back to Trading Standards, I have an average of 150 reviews at any one time (please note - only the last two years worth of reviews are used)
•I will collect and return free of charge from your home and then set the equipment back up in your home and demonstrate it working, so you can be confident that all repair work has been carried out satisfactorily
•I am a Microsoft and Novell professional certified engineer.
•I provide a free call out service and will carry out a quick check and initial diagnosis in the first 30 minutes at your home. I will provide you with a fixed price there and then. The price I quote you for is the price you pay on return. If I require any additional parts to carry out the repair, I will always contact you first and seek your approval before going ahead and ordering.
•I can test and diagnose any faults with your home telephone wiring and broadband that can be adding to your existing computer problems. I can sit with you in the comfort of your own home and provide one-to-one advice and training on security and on-line protection
•As I am mobile and work from home I do not have the significant overheads of running a shop, therefore I can offer you very competitive rates.
•All my work is carried out to a very high standard. I offer a fixed price service for both laptops and desktops, which includes a full virus scan and removal, registry clean up, repair service carried out to a very high standard – and includes a complete disassembly of all internal parts, cleaning of CPU & case fans, renewal of conductive heat paste between heat sink and processor. All Microsoft updates applied, registry cleaned, hard disk defragmented and one hours training and advice to help stop any future virus infections and problems.
•When I service a PC, I don’t just remove the virus and give it back to you. I carry out a comprehensive service and provide you with free software utilities and advice on using them to keep it running clean and quick, this is included as part of my standard service at no extra cost.
•I don’t just put in a recovery disk in and wipe it blank, I will fix your PC as it is with your personalised settings, your applications installed and of course your all important photos, music and documents still intact.
