Recently, we were contacted by a concerned local about a neighbour who had sadly just lost his wife. She had always managed their online banking and digital tasks, and without her, he found himself unable to access essential information on an outdated, nearly 15-year-old laptop.

Upon hearing his story, we were more than happy to help. After assessing his needs, we provided him with a new laptop at no charge. Despite our insistence, he was determined to pay us for our support, and in memory of his beloved wife, we decided to donate the £150 he gave us to Age UK.

It’s moments like these that remind us of the importance of community and compassion. We're grateful to have been able to make a difference and honour his wife’s memory.
