I made some progress last night with my Hexa S/W rebuild. Completely rebuilt the RPi S/W and also installed Ubuntu 16.4.4 and ROS on the master controller on a old laptop I found kicking about.

Today I am trying to visualise my electricals and electronics so I can work out where I'm having a power issue.

If anyone has more experience with these please give me a shout. There is a lot I need to learn and I just can't work out where I'm going wrong and overloading my Mega's each time.

I found a some inspiration tonight, Hexa has been sitting for too long. So I am rebuilding all my software and starting again.

These are the first prints after 5 months of no action. All parts still.need support material cleaning sanding painting and assembly.

Seeings as my CR-10 Mini is happy printing again, I thought I'd start a small quality test project.

This is going to be part of a articulated Wheatley model from Portal 2 that im building.

Five months!!!! Five bloody months it's took me to work out that I am my own worst enemy.

I think I have finally fixed my printer. This makes my face happy!

I like to upgrade my 3D printer whenever I find new mods I can install on it.

3D printer repairs! My CR-10 Mini has been a bit sad of recent, as it doesn't want to print straight or at all. So I found there was a blockage in the PTFE tube. So I bought a MK8 Aluminium Bowden Extruder upgrade.

Haven't posted in a while as been waiting for a replacement Arduino, as I fried the last two. Finally got my firmware uploaded correctly after working out the serial communication ports. Plugged in my external battery pack and guess what fried the third board now.... I really must remember to disconnected the 5v power supply from my Pi and don't have it connected via USB serial when connecting a 11.1v LiPo. As that causes a voltage surge. I'm so sad as I was literally about to start testing the Hexapod launch commands. (begrudgingly goes back to ebay)
