From kitchens to lichen 🌿

A little change of scenery after my last post! This is one of the social media graphics I designed for Oxalis Ecology, using their photo and branding.

Keeping a brand consistent doesn’t mean packing every post with information. Sometimes a strong photo, a few words and familiar colours are all you need to tell the story.

A like, comment or share is a lovely bit of support for a small business—it helps introduce our work to more people 💚

🔎 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭.

There's a lot more to social media management than creating a few graphics and scheduling posts.

Behind the scenes, I'm researching local audiences, planning content around what people are actually interested in and finding opportunities for businesses to get noticed. 📍

That might mean creating a post around something seasonal, researching relevant Facebook groups or spotting someone asking for a recommendation and helping connect them with a local business.

It's about understanding who you're trying to reach, what matters to them and where they're likely to be looking.

Because a post getting thousands of views doesn't necessarily mean it's reaching the right people.

It's encouraging to see what consistent, well-planned content can do, even without paid advertising.

A bit of recent content created for Tudor Construction Ltd 🎥

For this one, we went a little higher.

The drone footage was captured in-house, then edited into this Reel to give a better view of the scale of the project and the progress being made on site.

I’ve been creating a mix of project updates, graphics and Reels for Tudor to keep their social media active and show more of the work happening behind the scenes.

A new client for Zilla Graphics 🌿

Today I’m welcoming Oxalis Ecology, a local ecology consultancy helping people understand and protect the wildlife and habitats around us.

I’ll be working with the team on their social media and creating content to share more about what they do — from ecological surveys and biodiversity enhancements to habitat management advice.

There’s lots of interesting content planned, and I’m looking forward to sharing some of it along the way.
