A weekend of competition is over and our five players who travelled to the Summer GT had a fantastic time, we love supporting our friends over in Bristol and traveling when we can. BIG. .independent.gaming is a great venue also!

Great showing from the team, all making it into top ten with a 1-2 finish from Andy and Nick.

Thanks for the weekend all staff involved, until next time!

It's 11th edition pre-order day, we hope you've had luck pre-ordering your copies this morning!

It was a busy evening at club night, a mix of games going on. A few games prepping for a Bristol GT next weekend and a few WTC games as people look to see out 10th edition in style. A number of us have also started phasing to 11th edition, we some makeshift games piecing together everything we know so far and filling in the gaps with assumptions.

Our two days event is only a few weeks away now: https://www.thearenatabletop.com/event-details/wnc-south-wales-championships-qualifier-4

11th edition is certainly looking exciting!

It's Wednesday, time to see what everyone has been working on!

27/05/2026

It's most of us have been glued to any news coming out about 11th edition 40k. But even so we've managed to get some hobby time in!

Who's excited for 11th edition? The three demo games shared on the Warhammer stream last night have given the Vale Renegades chat and discord plenty to talk about (mostly over if fast rolling saves is good or bad for units).

Personally I can't wait for the layered charging and taking to the skies!

What are you most looking forward to?

11th Edition is coming… and competitive 40k in South Wales is heating up.

Last night’s Warhammer previews showcased brutal new stratagem interactions, terrain-focused missions, dynamic objectives, and some huge changes to how competitive games will play in 11th Edition.

Now it’s our turn.

The Vale Renegades are proud to host the next major stop in the South Wales qualifier series:

📍 The Arena
📅 27th–28th June
🎯 2 days of competitive Warhammer 40,000
⚔️ Part of the South Wales Championship qualifier circuit

Tickets: https://www.thearenatabletop.com/event-details/wnc-south-wales-championships-qualifier-4

If last night proved anything, it’s that tactical 40k is about to hit another level.

Get your reps in. Test your armies. Fight for qualifier points.
South Wales competitive 40k is only getting bigger.
