🚨 44 Million Healthcare Records Allegedly Leaked in France 🇫🇷

Another massive cybersecurity incident is shaking Europe’s healthcare sector.

Threat actors are claiming to possess and sell data linked to French healthcare payment operator Almerys — potentially affecting 44 million records and over 15 million Social Security numbers.

According to reports, the leaked dataset may include:

🔹 Full names
🔹 Dates of birth
🔹 Partial Social Security numbers
🔹 Employer / organization details

While the full scope is still under investigation, this follows previous large-scale breaches involving French healthcare systems in 2024. Experts warn that even partially leaked identity data can fuel:

⚠️ Identity theft
⚠️ Social engineering attacks
⚠️ Insurance fraud
⚠️ Targeted phishing campaigns

This is another reminder that cybersecurity is no longer just an IT issue — it is a national security and privacy issue.
