Hello, I set up this Saturday Drawing Workshop based in ☺️ Calne Studio🖍 for small groups of primary school students.

As I noticed that many children are tired and/or busy with other activities after school, I think this weekend art classes are good ideas for students who express an interest in learning how to draw.

DRAWING CAN BE LEARNED-There's no substitute for hard work. It takes focus and practice.😃

Starting with the use of graphite pencils, children learn how to draw lines, shapes, value, forms and still life objects etc. From the picture below, I introduced Conte Crayon sticks in earth tones to one of my students for her self-portrait. Then she worked on her grandpa portrait for his birthday present.

It takes about at least one term to practice and pay attention in details to get to this stage. Your children can really benefit from a private art tuition or small group workshop.
