(I always wanted to do this 😁!) Since it's the last day of 2025 here's my Art vs Artist in 2025.
It has been truly beautiful and inspiring but also very challenging year - creatively, financially, and all the ways. Being able to keep up with all the work creative and mundane, being back to a mama with a newborn baby, her growing up bigger siblings was quite a journey! :) I had to learn to manage my time in completely different circumstances I was used to. It still felt unbalanced, interrupted, overload at times. But I feel I'm getting there. I thought I haven't achieved as much as I wanted as I look back, but it's actually not true. Here's a few happy milestones of mine:
✨ I've managed to enter 15 Spoonflower challenges, my best placed was a jungle jaguar print just below my photo (different colourway) 💪
✨ My most saved pin this year has been Mama Bears in a Starry Night (top left corner) It is still one of my favourites. Sadly, this and all of my prints have been delisted form Natural Roots Fabrics this year... 😔
✨ My best selling design remains the one on my right, a timeless, toned down version of me 🧑🎨
✨ I've reached my goal of listings on Spoonflower (these include different colours and scales) 😁
✨I worked out my branding I'm happy with at the moment 🤔
✨ I've found amazing fabric supplier in Europe for customers based there and (I'm working on UK based one too.)
On my top of the list in 2026:
✨ start a newsletter where I can share my newest designs, updates and freebies with my subscribers (watch the space;))
✨ connect with customers & brands
✨ work on my website and blog
✨ pinterest
✨ keep searching for myself, my style and honing down the niche I feel I want to go into
✨paint and sketch more,
find time to play and experiment with my art
