Hi, I’m Edd — the beard behind Outrun Computers.
I’ve been building PCs for some time, upgrading them, tweaking them, and learning the hard way what actually makes a system run well… and what’s just marketing fluff. Outrun Computers came about because I got fed up seeing people sold parts they didn’t need, charged silly money for basic work, or left with a PC that still ran like a bag of spanners.
I build and optimise desktop PCs properly. If something’s slow, I’ll explain why. If an upgrade’s worth it, I’ll show you the benefit. And if it isn’t? I’ll be straight and tell you to save your money.
Whether it’s a full custom build, an upgrade, a clean-up, thermal refresh, or you’ve already bought the parts and just don’t fancy being the one who snaps a £500 GPU into place — I’ve got you. No judgement, no tech snobbery, and no confusing waffle.
Outrun Computers is about clean builds, honest advice, smooth FPS and systems that just work. Add a bit of neon, a lot of late nights, and a builder who actually gives a toss about the end result.
Desktop PCs, done properly — no bodges, no BS, just performance that outruns the rest.

FAQs
- I’ve already got the parts — can you install them for me?
Yep. That’s absolutely fine. I’ll install everything properly and make sure it’s working as it should.
- Do you work on laptops?
No — I focus on desktop PCs only.
- Do you do component repairs?
No. I stick to builds, upgrades, optimisation and system work so I can do it properly.
- Do you only build gaming PCs?
Nope. Gaming, work, streaming or general use — if it’s a desktop PC, I can help.
- Do you offer a warranty?
Yes — all workmanship is covered for 28 days. Parts are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
- Do I need to pay upfront?
For full builds, parts are paid upfront so they can be ordered. Labour is agreed in advance and added to the cost (if you want me to build too). We can discuss payment options before hand also!
- I’m not very techy — is that a problem?
Not at all. No judgement, no talking down to you, and no confusing tech waffle.
