3 Things I’ve learnt so far in my journey as a Freelance Virtual Assistant:

1. Self-Discipline is KEY 🔑 With no-one actively telling you what to do or outlining your day for you, it is SO important to have the control to stay on track and get things done!

2. Time Management is important ⏰ Working from home on your own schedule definitely allows for more flexibility - but I’ve learnt that it’s good to set a daily schedule and do your best to stick to it!

3. Separating Work Life from Home Life is necessary 🖥 Even though working from home is a lot more casual than going into an office every day, in order to maximise efficiency it definitely pays off to have a set work space where you can be productive and get the job done!

Overall - despite what people may think - it can actually be more challenging to work for yourself than for someone else. It’s super important to find what works best for YOU and allow yourself to fall into a day-to-day routine that maximises your potential 😊

A wise person once told me “Progress, Not Perfection”, and it’s something I try and remind myself of every day.
