Haven't posted in a while, just been busy!
Here is a fully serviced I worked on recently, fitted with a brand new cartridge.
This turntable was bought less than a year ago by a customer as 'fully serviced, in mint condition'. It didn't take long for the cables to go faulty. The customer brought it to me for a quick repair, but once opened it was very obvious that the unit has never been touched or serviced.
A full inspection plus proper service was done with a good clean inside + out, new phono leads, ground wire, pitch fader, plus shading cloth and k**b felt were also fitted.
It's coming to be the norm now, that customers bring turntables to me as 'recently serviced' when they are not. It's always good to get them checked. These models are built to last as long as serviced correctly.
All servicing and repairs I do on come with a one year warranty on parts and labour.
