I know this is usually my art account but I wanted to take this opportunity to share some sad news with some of my beautiful followers.
On 2nd February, 2021 we lost a true gentleman, Tony Birch. Dad, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
The last time that I spoke to my Dad was over the phone whilst he was in hospital. The conversation was fairly short as I was worried about him losing his breath. One thing that stuck out to me was how much he praised all of the staff that looked after him at CDDFT and especially those working in the ICU.
During the current Covid 19 pandemic, NHS staff are doing there very best to treat the sick, protect the vunerable and comfort relatives, without complaint.
Let's raise some money in my Dad's name for Co. Durham & Darlington Foundation Trust Charity (Durham hospital) to show some appreciation for all of the care and comfort they gave to my Dad in his last few weeks.
