Have you heard about π‘πžπŸπ«πšπ¦πž – πƒπ’π―πžπ«π¬πž 𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 π‡πžπšπ₯𝐭𝐑𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞?
Clinical education and diagnostic tools have relied on imagery that overwhelmingly represents white skin. For patients with darker skin tones, this gap in representation can lead to misdiagnoses and delayed treatments.

π‘πžπŸπ«πšπ¦πž - Diverse Images for Healthcare, an initiative by NHS England and UWE Bristol, provides a high-quality, standardized image library with over 3,000 clinical photographs showing how medical conditions appear across a range of skin tones, addressing this critical gap in medical education and improving diagnostic accuracy for all patient groups.

The free-to-use image bank was implemented by our UK partner Medialogix on a Fotoware platform, ensuring secure, structured, and efficient access to a resource now used by medical professionals and educators across the UK and beyond.

Gaz Armes of Medialogix recently enjoyed a 48-hour fishing adventure with the renowned Carp Angler, Ian Russell Carp Angler, at Frimley Pit 3 (Frimley Pits Fishery), courtesy of a winning bid in the auction for Phyllis Tuckwell, Hospice Care. Eager and full of anticipation, Gaz joined Ian for what turned out to be an incredible experience. Despite Gaz not landing any fish during the 48 hours, Ian managed to reel in four impressive catches, with the largest weighing in at 41lb 4oz. (Pro Carp Angler)

Exciting news from Medialogix! πŸŽ‰ We're absolutely delighted to share that we've secured an incredible fishing opportunity alongside the legendary Ian Russell Carp Angler, thanks to winning an exclusive auction run by Les Bowers for Frimley Pits Fishery. 🎣

What makes this even more special is that every penny from this auction goes straight to the Phyllis Tuckwell, Hospice Carel, supporting their invaluable work in the community. πŸ₯
This is not only a chance for Gaz Armes (Medialogix) to enjoy 48hrs of angling alongside Ian, but also a heartfelt contribution towards the well-being of those in the community who need it most. We are proud to be part of this initiative and a cause so dear to Frimley Pits hearts.

Medialogix had the honour of attending the 60th Annual Royal Navy Peregrine Trophy awards at Trinity House in London.
Sponsoring the Maritime Air Portfolio Prize, awarded for the best 2 images of one or more Royal Navy Rotary or Fixed Wing Aircraft carrying out their duites globally.

The Peregrine Trophy is the Royal Navy’s yearly photographic competition, recognising the diversity, talent and creative set of skills of Royal Navy photographers highlighting the operational activities of the Service around the world.

The Peregrine Trophy dates back to 1961 and showcases the talent of the professionals of the Navy’s Photographic branch and keen amateur photographers.
The competition aims to encourage and recognise the production of eye-catching images and footage that capture the spirit, ethos and unique capability of the Royal Navy.

Unfortunately Belinda Alker who won the prize was unable to attend the awards, due to being deployed. However her colleague Will Haigh accepted the prize on her behalf, presented by Gaz Armes (Medialogix) and Rear Admiral Iain Lower MA AFNI, Director Strategy & Policy.

Our largest Police client, Metropolitan Police Service wins the Media Management Awards 2021 (Police & Law Enforcement Category)

Metropolitan Police is the largest police force in the United Kingdom serving Greater London. Metropolitan Police has produced an application that allows the whole Metropolitan Police Service to identify unidentified suspects from CCTV still images and CCTV moving clips. It allows them to effectively manage the images, apply retention dates, and keep track of what is happening with suspects who have been identified.

Since its launch in 2017, Metropolitan Police has uploaded over 60,000 images of suspects for identification. Approximately 40% of these images are identified within 12 days of being published on the FotoWare Digital Evidence Management solution. There are 31,000 users from the Metropolitan Police Service and around 60 images a day are circulated. They have also recently started receiving images in relation to serious offences from other police forces across the UK for circulation on their system.
