This post is for all the Bhangra fans! I recently had the honor of meeting and presenting a custom-made T-shirt to Birmingham's beat master, Dr Zeus (). As a singer, composer, and producer, he is a true legend in the music world.

​It was a fantastic experience meeting Zeus and his team. He was incredibly appreciative of the shirt, and thought my illustration was uncanny, which I presented on behalf of and . I chose a clean, simple design and added a touch of "bling" to make the top pop! We had a great chat and managed to grab a few photos before he headed off to work. He's a great guy, humble to the max.

​When he played "Jugni Ji" later that night, the memories came flooding back—my little boy loves that song just as much as I do and it's requested by the 3 year old constantly in the car. I am truly grateful for the opportunities coming my way and want to thank everyone who has supported my journey with The Funk Academy.

An absolute dynamite meet-up with the presenter, sports reporter, host, and all-round superstar that is Amber Sandhu.

​The Funk Academy had the opportunity to create a unique T-shirt for Amber to showcase her love for being a fan. The real joy was seeing her expression of appreciation for my work and hearing her say, "I really love this; I’ll be wearing this all the time!"

I had the chance to explain the inspiration behind the design. Knowing Amber is a huge Wolverhampton Wanderers football fan, I designed a full-print pattern of her name and knocked out the Wolves logo in the centre so it stands out vividly. The palette was entirely inspired by the team’s iconic colours.

I was proud to be invited to the "Decade Of Blues 4 All" anniversary. This was an evening to celebrate the togetherness of the inclusive community and recognise the achievements of members who have dedicated their efforts to champion Blues 4 All supporters group.

The Funk Academy was asked to create a number of unique T-shirts for the individuals receiving awards on the night. With the brief provided by Bik of , I was able to design football related T-shirts for the individuals that captured their personalities and recognition of the work they do at Blues 4 All.

The room was filled with a fantastic community which has supported Blues 4 All over the decade. Along with the Birmingham Lord Mayor ( ) who presented the awards, the evening was hosted by a very energetic Amber Sandhu ( ), keeping the crowd engaged before people let loose on the dance floor with entertainment provided by and a special appearance from DJ Zeus ( )

I had such a memorable evening surrounded by fantastic people, it was so great to see the individuals receiving their T-shirt awards which I created from scratch so they can wear as a constant reminder of the efforts volunteering at Blues for All.
