I was given a fab Pikmin-style tea strainer for Christmas for my lovely new herbal teas.

I couldn’t resist sharing it with you along with the teas I bought from the lovely at the Halloween Handmade Market last year.

They are sooooooo relaxing and are going to be a big help as I try to remember how to get up early and inevitably burn myself out drinking too much caffeine! 🤣

Happy new year! I treated myself to some origami paper in the run up to Christmas. I think I’ve had my fill of survival boxsets now. We’ve covered zombies, vampires and aliens so I’m ready for something else.

I’m at the point where I need to make things but I’m north ready to work yet.

Birmingham is looking beautiful with the snow covered rooftops. I think this photo could easily be Victorian Britain! 🤣

Just want to let you know that I’m almost back. We had 3 floods in October and then a few days later it turned out I had asymptomatic covid.

It’s been a tiring few months but I am easing back into things. I’ll be sending out quotes this weekend.

I’ve had a lot of time to think about what it means to support handmade and shop indie so am going to start posting up some tips for people that are eager to delve into this new and exciting world.

Two types of recycled card stock, both made from 100% post consumer waste and wrapped in recyclable packaging.

I’ve just stepped up my packaging game by recycling event posters for my postal labels. It’s a good feeling to use them.

These lovely 3 inch square cards with rounded corners made it to a craft fair in Kenilwirth this weekend with Kamilla from .craft.nook

They are made from smooth white recycled card that is made from 100% post consumer waste. This card is better for the environment and your conscience.

This is a custom size for Kamilla, if you are looking for recycled cards and don’t see the size you need get in touch.

If you’re looking for something that isn’t listed please allow time as I have to do more tests for new shapes and sizes. Your patience will pay off though.

I have a few fabulous customer orders to share with you. This shape was a custom order. While I do stock square cards with rounded corners, I don’t have this size in stock.

Isn’t it sweet? So, if you see a size / shape / card type that you’d like but it’s not quite what you need, it’s possible I could create the custom order that does suit your needs. You just have to reach out and ask.

I can usually get a quote together in 24-48 hours depending on how complicated it is. I do just need an idea of size / shape / quantity / card type and I can go from there.

These lovely 1 inch circle stickers are on the way to Helen at - they always look so nice!

I usually print them onto pre-cut sheets that aren’t recycled but I’m so happy to announce that these are!

I spent some time trouble-shooting my cutter in early July as I wanted to move over to recycled stickers. After some pretty long days of testing I had a breakthrough. Ta-da!

Since then I’ve had one custom order that worked great and this is the first order that would normally be pre-cut!

It wasn’t a fluke! I’ve got it working, so moving forward I will be able to take more custom orders now and they will all be kiss-cut - meaning cut from the backing with the backing to peel from!

There will be slightly less per page but a lot less wastage and they will be better for the environment!

I’ve turned down a couple of bullet journal sticker orders in my other shop but can do them now. So reach out if you have something in mind! 👍🏻

I made these fab flag tags for a UK charity called

They wanted them to have blue text rather than black. I thought I should photograph them with my favourite blue paperweight to match.

I love the wonderful blue light it casts when the light catches it. I love paper so it only makes sense that I love paperweights too.

Anyway, I digress. Do follow them as they are doing a fabulous job in Barnet.

Just want to express my love and gratitude to the NHS once again! I contacted my Dr today about my swollen one leg and the hospitalisation prevention team came out to me to do a DVT screening!

Thankfully the test was negative, and I feel relieved thanks to these wonderful people and such a fabulous service. They told me that while DVT patients are usually 50-90 years old they’ve had people as young as 19 during the pandemic. This is due to people not being able to get out and exercise as much.

I’m going to have to try to get more exercise now in the hope that will sort out my leg. I’m just so relieved they could rule out something so scary so quickly!

We’d literally be lost without the NHS. Let’s do more than clap for them when they do so much for us.

When you vote next, make sure the NHS as it the top of your list of considerations for where to put your X. Don’t let the government sell off our lifeline!

If like me you’ve done a lot of online shopping in the last 18 months, you might have a stash of packaging to recycle.

I know did as she asked me to make these stickers for her. The lovely thing about them is they are made from recycled materials too!

I can’t keep much packaging to reuse as I just don’t have the space. However, I reused an A5 card backed envelope last week. It suddenly looked much snazzier with one of theses stickers on! I’m going to make a bit more space for boxes and envelopes now.

I’ve been working on custom stickers, I managed to find the ideal cutting settings so they came out perfect.

They are made from recycled sticker paper so better for the environment and your conscience.
