Junior Network Engineer Opportunity in Biggin Hill/South London
Salary: £20,000-£25,000 per annum, plus overtime, benefits and more.
We’re an expanding IT company on the lookout for a trainee/junior network engineer to join our team. We need someone who thrives in a collaborative environment but can also work independently. Flexibility is key, as the hours may be unpredictable, and our client’s systems require utmost attention. We work with a diverse range of technologies, so we seek someone who can quickly absorb information and adapt to new challenges.
The ideal candidate should possess knowledge and skills in some of the following areas:
Strong understanding of WANs,LANs and WLANs, Experience with Cisco or Ubiquiti is a plus.
Experience in Windows Server Administration.
Solid grasp of Windows operating systems for both servers and desktops.
Proficiency in desktop applications (Office suites, etc.).
Familiarity with Office 365 Administration and Azure administration.
Knowledge of endpoint protection, antivirus software, and cyber awareness.
DIY skills for installing Wi-Fi, CCTV, and similar technologies.
