We had the privilege of working alongside two long-standing friends and colleagues to deliver the full installation of an upgraded KV2 Audio sound system at the world-renowned Ministry of Sound in London, on behalf of Patchwork London.

Over a three-week period, we completed the end-to-end installation within “The Box,” including the build, and termination of three bespoke equipment racks. These housed 16x high-power KV2 amplifiers alongside advanced QSC Q-SYS processing.

The project also included upgrades to the balcony VIP area and the standing VIP space behind the DJ booth, enhancing both performance and audience experience.

With around 25 years in the audiovisual industry, primarily within the nightclub and entertainment sector, this project stands as a significant milestone and a proud addition to our portfolio of work.

Main Room (The Box) Kit List:

* Main Loudspeakers: 6x SL412 Slimline wide dispersion loudspeakers (flown in a six-point configuration).
* Low-Frequency Reinforcement:
* 8x VHD4.21 active subwoofers.
* 6x VHD2.16 subwoofers.
* DJ Monitoring:
* 2x ESD312 loudspeakers.
* 4x ES1.8 subwoofers.
* VIP Area:
* ESD10 loudspeakers paired with ESD1.12 subwoofers in corners.
* 4x ESD12 loudspeakers (along the deck).
* Amplification & Processing: Custom-designed KV2 amp racks consisting of 16x KV2 VHD Amplifiers.

The system overhaul also involved Patchwork London and the integration of QSC Q-SYS processing with Netgear switches

XS Audio Visual recently installed a 24 speaker AUDAC sound system in the heart of Wandsworth, London in this stunning listed building spread across two floors, which is now a newly opened state of the art Bowling & other various games venue.
The 24 speakers are driven by only three of Powersofts latest small form DSP Mezzo Amplifiers with Zone control taken care of by three PoE WM Touch controllers.

We recently completed this full refurb of the longest running Bar/Restaurant venue in Windsor.

The venue was in need of desperate modernization so XS Audio Visual had fully stripped out all of the existing electrics, lighting, sound system and fittings and had rewired for most of the services. We installed the latest full Colour COB RGB tape throughout. A flush wall feature in the entrance way. Warm white COB LED behind the back bar glass and to the underside of the bar lip. Finished off with some RGB COB to the booth seating. To finish the lighting we installed the hardware and provisions for our friends at WavCo to install the Pixel ceiling LED feature powered by Resolume.
We also renewed the mains power circuits and the Track Lighting.

The existing sound system was totally ripped out and was replaced by 4x NEXO PS15’s, 4x NEXO PS8’s, 2x Martin Audio Ltd S18 subwoofers, processed by the official NEXO controllers and a Symetrix Inc. DSP. The system is powered by QSC amplification.

We also installed multiple Wi-fi networks and Hikvision 4K CCTV utilizing the latest 4K ColorVu technology.

The venue is now trading as a boutique “vibe dining” brunch venue and has sold out most of the prebooked dates in the coming months.

All in all, a nice enjoyable project for XSAV.

Some photos of an Acoustic Treatment Installation that we completed back in June using bespoke Artnovion absorbers & diffusers supplied by Audio-Technica Europe.

The high end Bar & Restaurant was suffering from very unpleasant acoustics due to the high ceilings, large glass windows and lack of soft furnishings.
4 large ceiling hangs and multiple wall & ceiling mounted absorbers and diffusers, transformed the venue both acoustically and visually.

We have just finished installing a Sound System and Wired and Wireless Networks at this brand new Boutique Hair & Beauty Salon in Crowthorne.

The Colour Palette is due to open on 1st of April which now benefits from 12x Audac Ateo 6 Speakers spread across 2 floors/zones supplying crisp background audio with perfect coverage throughout the venue.
Controlled via 2x remote source and volume controllers at the reception desk.

We also supplied hardwired data feeds for the POS system
as well as multiple staff/guest WiFi access points.
Another clean project, designed, cabled, installed and commissioned by XS Audio Visual.

To finish off the year from us, another project that we completed back in September. This was a challenge as we had only 4 days to completely rip out the existing 15 year old sound and lighting system and to 1st and 2nd fix and commission a whole new nightclub Sound, Lighting & Video install which included relocating the DJ booth and existing TV video feeds.

We installed 12x VOID Venu 12" Mid Tops and a pair of hidden Void Stasys 218 Subwoofers. All processed by a Symetrix Inc. Jupitor 8 and powered by just 2x Linea Research Ltd. 44C Amplifiers.

A brand new Pioneer Nexus 2 DJ setup was supplied and installed as well as an additional 75" Sony LED TV for visuals and branding.

12x Showtech Moving Heads & Moving Washes took care of the lighting along with a full colour Laser, LED Smoke Machine and 4x Mirror Ball Pin Spots.

The icing on the cake was the 2x 1 meter 3D LED Hologram fans that we installed to create the ultimate "wow" factor! We believe that we are the first in the UK to permanently install a pair of these into a nightclub setting for visual effects.
