🌸I'M BACK — AND I’M TURNING THE PAGE. 🌸
After a little pause, I’m so happy to be back creating my pretty floral, pastel book covers. 🤍
But I wanted to explain a little bit about why things are going to look different from now on.
When I first started making these, the idea was never really about creating special editions or recreating specific books.
It was much simpler than that.
I just wanted to make old, mismatched books look pretty on a shelf. 📚🌷
I wanted to create something that made your bookshelf feel more cohesive and more you — a bit of colour, florals and prettiness, without needing to replace the books you already had.
And then… I got carried away. 😂
I started making them for specific books and series, and I absolutely loved creating them. They became a much bigger part of what I was doing than I originally imagined.
When I started thinking about moving away from book-specific covers, I honestly couldn't work out how to do it. I kept thinking, but how can I make a cover without knowing the book?
And then I realised…
I don't have to choose the book. You do. 🤍
So that's what I'm doing going forward.
You choose the floral/pastel design you love, then you choose the book title and author you want on it — and I bring the two together.
It means the original idea is still there: making your shelf pretty. 🌸
Just with a lot more freedom to make it personal to you.
There is one little goodbye first, though…
My book-specific covers will be DISCONTINUED from Monday, so if you've ever had your eye on one, you have until Sunday night to grab it before I retire those designs.
(Additions to current series I will still be making. I'd hate for anyone to bot be able to have a full matching set!)
Then it's on to the new chapter. 🪻
I’m really excited to get back to creating, and even more excited to see what books you choose. 💕
What book would you love to see on one of my designs?
