Q: What kind of vacation?
Answer: There are 11 types of holidays.
Namely:
1. Weekends. (Section 103) is entitled to 1 day a week.
2. Casual leave. (Section 115) 10 days at full wages per calendar year.
3. Leave due to pain or illness. (Section 116) 14 days. At full wages per calendar year.
4. Annual or earned leave. (Section 117) 1 day every 18 days. However, the term of service should be completed for one year. If you don't enjoy the holidays, you'll be able to cash in half once a year.
5. Festival holidays. (Section 118) 11 days. The company can increase if it wants, but it cannot give less than 11 days.
6. Maternity leave. (Section 46) 112 days off. 56 days before a possible EDD date followed by 56 days.
7. Paid leave. (Section 46(2) Rule 38) If two children are alive, they will not get benefits or any money but will get leave as per their needs. Even after adjusting for annual and sick leave, if necessary. And you will get that leave without pay.
8. Abortion-related leave. Rule 38(a)is newly added in 2022. If a pregnant woman has an abortion, she can take 4 weeks off. This leave cannot be adjusted to any other holiday and will receive wages.
9. Compensatory leave. Section 103/104 rule 118(3) is discussed in detail.
10. Temporary disability leave for occupational disorders. Section 150(4) 5th Schedule. A maximum of 2 years on special consideration and recommendation of the medical board.
11. Transfer leave. (Rule 109) If more people of the same family are employed, then the benefit of enjoying the leave of the other person when one person's due leave is over.
