One of the biggest surprises from our first Officially Organic Supermarket Watch wasn’t who had the biggest organic range…
It was the prices.
We checked organic produce across:
Tesco • Sainsbury’s • Waitrose • Ocado • M&S • Morrisons • Asda • Aldi • Lidl
And we found organic carrots for just £1.10 for 600g at Morrisons.
Meanwhile, several of the supermarkets were surprisingly close when we compared organic staples by weight.
So perhaps it’s time to challenge the idea that:
“I’d buy organic… but it’s just too expensive.”
Sometimes it’s not about spending a fortune.
It’s about knowing what to buy organic — and where to buy it.
That’s exactly why we’ve launched the Officially Organic Supermarket Watch.
Every week, we’re doing the searching for you — checking organic availability, prices, choice and British organic produce across the UK’s biggest supermarkets.
🥕 Who has the best prices?
🥦 Who has the biggest organic range?
🇬🇧 Who is supporting British organic?
📉 And who could be doing much better?
