We’re excited to welcome the Hot Off The Printer team to our upcoming Start Smart event for 13-18 year olds who are interested in business. The company was founded by the young entrepreneur, Jacob Lawley.

Hot Off The Printer is a 3D printing business creating high-quality printed items in a range of colours, with bespoke orders available too. Their approach is simple: you are only restricted by your imagination.

From creative designs to custom pieces, they are passionate about making 3D printing accessible, exciting and full of possibility. They’ll be joining the talk-show-style discussion at Smart Start to share what it’s like to build a business, learn as you go, and turn an idea into something real.

We’re excited to be hosting Smart Start. A talk show-style event for young people aged 13–18 who want to learn more about business and how to get started.

Led by Dmitrijs Meiksans, with guest speakers to be confirmed, this interactive session will combine real-life insight with hands-on business activities, giving you the chance to learn, ask questions, and get inspired.

We are extremely excited to announce that our PTA Summer Fayre will be taking place on June 27th 2026! Please see the poster attached.

Last year's event was a huge success, which raised an incredible amount of money for our pupils and we are hoping this year will raise even more! It will be a day of fun and games, with an large raffle for you to take part in too. As well as our own games and events, we will be joined by caterers and small businesses, and lots of other entertainment will be available too!

Donation Requests
Bottle Tombola - This is always a very popular stall and we need your help to fill it! We are asking for donations of new/unopened bottles towards the tombola. This can be bottles of anything you like - alcohol, pop, squash, shampoo, sauces, etc. Please can all donations be brought to the school office or into classrooms by June 19th.

Pre-loved Toys - We will be holding a pre-loved toy stall on the day. If you are having a clear out and have any second toys, in good condition which we can resell to raise funds for the PTA, please drop them into school anytime before June 19th. Unfortunately we cannot accept jigsaw puzzles or board games.

Raffle
We have already collected some brilliant raffle prizes from local companies, please see the attached poster to see who has already donated raffle prizes for you to win on the day! If you are in a position to provide a raffle prize, or have contact with any companies who might be willing to support the raffle, please do get in touch!

Car Boot Sale
If you would like to hold a car boot sale at this event, please email [email protected] to book your space! Pre-booking is essential.

Stallholders
We are looking for local small businesses to join us and sell their wares! If you own a small business and would like to sell your product at our Summer Fayre, please email [email protected] to book your space.

Vendors/Caterers
We already have some great vendors and caterers lined up to join us, but you can never have too much choice! Please share our poster far and wide to generate interest, and if you know any vendors/caterers who may be able to join us please ask them to email [email protected] to discuss this.
