I’m honoured to be the only artist in the UK to be given the opportunity to hand-paint artwork onto the prestigious watch boxes of this brand and to work with great people and turn exciting ideas into reality is exactly why I do what I do.

Further updates to come but what an honour to be working with such wonderful people and to work with such a prestigious brand.

Flowers in the ‘Reign’ - New Artwork

My latest artwork is a tribute to the iconic Busby Babes who sadly lost their lives in Munich in 1958. My mixed-media painting captures the love, heartbreak and emotion through the eyes and the tear stained windows of Manchester and across the world. This is an acrylic painting on canvas board with a digital complex overlay before printing and is part of my ‘Reign’ collection.

Just 58 signed and numbered prints available so message me for details or visit my website (link in bio). Share with fans across the world x

New artwork created as part of a new ‘POP’ art range I’ve created for a special project and I’m making available in limited print form. Surreal fragmented reality with a colourful and humorous twist capturing one of the greatest music icons of my generation. My artwork captures the many faces of Bowie alongside a few of his synonymous lyrics. Link in my bio to buy or visit my website if you fancy capturing one of the 50 prints.

With a professional art career now spanning the best part of 35 years I am humbled to have worked with so many amazing people and work on some life-changing ‘pinch-me moment’ projects. To be given the opportunity to create art on a pair of glasses by for her client and now our friend was a project I just had to do.

The project has been six months in the making with many meetings, WhatsApp chats and phone calls leading to me hand-painting two sets of unique hip-hop inspired glasses frames. Romesh is a huge hip hop fan and we both decided early to go with two iconic and A Tribe Called Quest albums as the colour theme to work with. The final images can be seen in this post and seeing Romesh’ reaction to being presented with the finished glasses here in Manchester at his show was worth all the time taken to produce them. He even wore the red and green combo spex for the last show of the tour and next day on breakfast show!

Colette went above and beyond to sort the lenses and frames and I added just enough elements from the albums to highlight Romesh’ love for these amazingly significant albums from his life.

I have to give a huge shout out to Romesh for not only being so grateful and generous with his time throughout but for being an amazingly humble and lovely guy. This project has been amazing and I’m really proud of what I created for him with very little canvas to work with.

This is just the first of many new projects working with both Colette, and other top glasses brands and high-profile clients so watch this space for updates. Get in touch with me if you are a glasses wearer and you want your own personal and unique styling added to your look. Anything is possible…..

One of the most rewarding aspects of being an artist is working with young people on projects in school. This week I had the opportunity to spend two days at a primary school in Farnworth, Bolton working with a group of Year 4, 5 and 6 pupils between the ages of 8 and 10.

The project was to be centred around the bumble bee and to raise awareness of its impact on the eco system and having painted many bees in the past I was asked to facilitate the two day workshops.

I decided to split the final piece into 8 canvases to allow small groups of three children to work on each board to achieve the final result. I taught the children how to use a grid and to measure areas to define the initial sketch of the bee and the world and then to define each area with coloured pens and vivid colour paints. We also added hexagons featuring quotes thought up by the children on the subject of the eco system, faith and values and they all came up with such brilliant messages.

The final artwork will feature in a church exhibition in Bolton in the coming weeks and then taken pride of place in the schools’ reception for future generations to benefit from and for all the children involved to enjoy.

Changing lives and inspiring young people and adults through art is a real passion of mine and also using creativity to help with mental health challenges is the most rewarding part of who I am and what I do.

Back in 2002 I was a digital games artist and 3D designer working for one of the biggest game developers outside of Japan right here in Manchester. I worked on games such as Spiderman, Tom and Jerry and Scooby Doo on both and gameboy and created storyboards for many new games under development. Software Creations where I worked was one of the first companies to use 3D silicon graphics (SGI/CGI) in games and working on the FIFA franchise opened many doorways to the most advanced development software.

The pinnacle of my games career was creating and building the 3D stadiums as lead artist for - FIFA World Cup 2002 on the PlayStation One and this games trailer I just discovered via You Tube gave me goosebumps all over again! My stadiums still look good after all this time and I can’t believe what we achieved back then with this number one game that sold over 3 million copies.

23 years ago but with memories like it was yesterday of working with the best of friends and people in the games industry here in Manchester for 12 years!

Who knew FIFA was developed in Manchester alongside the Canadian EA Sports team eh? Amazing memories and very proud and a huge stepping stone during my career as a professional artist and I still use many of the skills I learned then.

Enjoy this trailer and let me know what you think and did you ever play this game ‘back in the day?’

This week I had the pleasure of presenting my latest commissioned piece of artwork at a charity event for .mcr in support of within the incredible .

My Manchester themed composition combined an oil painted portrait with some of my signature colourful collage work and glitter resin overlay with the addition of a crystal beauty spot. This artwork is one the favourite pieces I’ve created and a style I will be continuing to explore in a new collection I am putting together so watch this space for updates and a possible exhibition later this year.

Raising money for charitable causes and community projects close to my heart is an asset to my career I am so proud of and I will continue to support others with my creative talent. Over the past 5 years I have now raised a total of £168K with sales of my works at auction and this is beyond humbling to know the difference I have made!

Thank you to everyone who supports and loves what I do and who follows my creative journey on here and beyond.

We can all make a difference in our own way and with so much negativity in the world right now we should all strive to better the lives of those who need it most and promote positivity and love for others when and where we can. One Love xx
