A gorgeous white-themed build came in for a bit of a tidy up. The system had taken a bump and stopped displaying. The user quite fairly had a go at fixing it themselves but got a bit lost so called me in. After examination it was a simple case of putting the RAM in the correct slots, re-seating and securing the lovely white graphics card and topped off with a re-pasting and re-mounting of the CPU cooler.

Working system returned to a very happy owner. Was a genuine pleasure to work on this.

This (very) old PC was running very slowly and took almost 4 minutes to get into Windows.

After taking the unit away a simple upgrade to a much faster SSD this PC has been given a new lease of life and will now be a much snappier machine for this very happy customer, getting into Windows in under 30 seconds, and returned back to it's home.

Did you know that something as simple as having a faulty USB plugged in can cause a PC to not start? Problem is, when you take it to the repair shop, because you've left that USB at home, the repair shop will say the system is fine! Because it is! But you take it home, plug everything back in and find it won't start again, leaving you in a vicious loop of not being able to figure out the issue.

I will come to your home and see the machine in it's normal operating environment. Reducing the chance of weird things like faulty USB's or extension leads causing problems without the hassle and cost of taking your machine to a repair shop.

Plus I can test a variety of parts on site to narrow down your issue at a time that suits you! And if all that fails, I can take the machine away and perform more diagnostics to nail down issues, then return the machine to you at your convenience. No hassle, just a returned working machine.

If the repair can be done in your home, then that's where I'll do it.
