"Join us Sunday 7th December for a celebration of all things Fine Grains Records at the Worm gallery. ⁠

Founded in 2012 by Alexander Horne aka DJ Uraki Riddim, Fine Grains makes a return to Aberdeen for an audio & visual feast celebrating the impact of the label and its founder as a champion of independent music. ⁠
⁠
Part exhibition, part celebration, the event will kick off from 12pm with a listening party featuring the full roster of Fine Grains releases played back to back over the course of the day. This will be supported with large format prints featuring the distinctive design work associated with each release and the label overall. The label has developed a distinctive in-house style thanks to Alex with support from a creative team of friends, musicians and designers, with the attention to detail of each release being paramount alongside his belief in championing new musicians and producers.⁠

Alongside Fine Grains we'll be showing posters and photos from the numerous events and club nights organised over the past 20 years including the DO IT! nights hosted at Cellar 35, The Tunnels, Origin & Snafu from 2009 - 2011 along with more recent work with Amsterdams Echobox Radio who host a regular Fine Grains show. ⁠

The exhibition will be open 12 - 4pm followed by a private event in the evening for Alex and Fine Grains Records friends and family. "
