After the recent events, few words on the situation :
Several Joomla extensions have been hacked and Page Builder CK was one of them. Few days ago the info has been received and the 3.6.0 was released as soon as possible to fix the problem.
Now the 3.6.1 version has been released to increase the security level and add some checks to avoid this type of problem.

There is a scanner of websites that checks if you are using Page Builder CK (and also for the other affected extensions from other developers) and then it launches an attack.

If you are using a version before 3.6.0 on your Joomla 5 / 6 website, then you must IMMEDIATELY update it. (note that there are some updates available for those who are still using Joomla 3 or 4, ask it if needed)
You are also encouraged to
- check if your website has been infected
- if yes, the best option is to restore a backup, then update your extensions
- also check the vulnerability in other extensions and stay informed !
