New branding for the Aussie darksynth punks Dedderz!

More than a logo, I designed a complete modular system around their brand!
I started with an aggressive 80s Metal-inspired logotype, I then gave the logo a pulse to bring it to life (pretty literal) and finally added this skull mascott directly plugged to the letters!
I then conjured all the fx I could add in post, for this spooky analog vibe πŸ’€

It was quite a challenge but I'm super proud of the final product! All the elements and combinations work super well

As a big fan of the Synth scene it was a blast to have the opportunity to work with them!
Over the last 10 years, they collaborated with my absolute favourites in the genre (Gost, Hollywood Burns, Microchip Terror, Irving Force...) and even with the studio Troma entertainment ☣️
Can't wait to see what they're gonna cook next!

The poster features a couple of concept arts by Jon Lane, an in-engine render of the Doomslayer + my own ornamental work and composition.
I tried to stay true to the game branding : reusing the same types, co-opting HUD elements and such...

I usually don't like relying on existing visuals too much, but when the HeenokΓ©en guys mentioned a Doom-tribute, I was on board! I'm a big fan of the game and it really fits my aesthetic!

We're seeing more and more Metal logos in the clubs πŸ‘€ And I'm probably to blame...
Case study on the branding I made for .techno, one of the best upcoming collectives in the scene 🦾

(Also, I used Hard Techno in the hook, but the point applies to the wider hard electronic music scene)

Had the pleasure to work with Kat Von D on her new venture VONDLAND!
It's so cool to have my logo on such a beautiful storefront 🀩This design was obviously inspired by the Hollywood sign given her ties to LA!

Can you believe there's not a single typeface that accurately replicate the Hollywood letters? So I redraw everything from scratch and made sure to perfectly match the thickness, angles, and everything to make the most accurate tribute to the iconic sign ✨
Make sure to check out Von D Land for stunning shoes, accessories, and cool merch I helped making!

You don't know him, but he changed Deathcore forever πŸš‡
Back in 2012 Andrew Coppage created the blueprint for modern vocals with one small video.

And if you have other examples of early tunnels, I'd be curious to hear them in the comments

Power Metal + Deathcore is one of the rarest combinations in metal. Outside of Dragoncorpse, I can't really think of anything that comes close πŸ€”
Until now; WizardSlammer is an upcoming band masterfully blending the two genres!

It's in the super early stages, so you guys will have to be patient, but from what I've heard, it's gonna kick some serious ass!
I'm so glad they trusted me with their logo! Just like the band's sound, I wanted to design something inspired by fantasy and Power Metal, but with a modern edge⚑ What do you think?
