She holds the world in one hand and a pomegranate in the other.
Both are full of seeds.
Both demand a price.
The Queen of Pentacles does not dream of abundance.
She is abundance.
And abundance is never soft.

Every pentacle is earned.
Dot by dot. Hour by hour.
The eyes that drew her look like hers now.

Some people walk into a room.
Others change the air.

The Queen of Wands doesn’t chase attention.

She is the kind of woman who has survived herself so many times that she stopped asking for permission.

She simply stopped chasing what refused to see her.

People will mistake her strength for arrogance.
Her boundaries for coldness.
Her independence for an inability to love.

They are wrong.

The Queen of Wands arrives when it is time to stop making yourself smaller just to make others comfortable.

Not everyone will understand her light, her fire.

She was not born to keep everyone warm.

Creating monster on a Saturday night

Some people light up a room.

Others make the shadows step aside.

The Queen of Wands doesn’t want the spotlight.
She is the spotlight.

Charisma that doesn’t ask for attention.
Desire that moves with direction.
Will that doesn’t hesitate.

The force of someone who walked through chaos
without letting it rewrite her heart.

Some people warm you.
Others burn you.
She does both.

And then..
She makes you realize
you were never fully awake
until she looked at you.

Some people talk to fill the silence.

Others have learned to use it like a blade.

The King of Swords doesn't chase.
Doesn't convince.
Doesn't hold on.

He watches.
He weighs.
He cuts away everything that cannot bear the weight of truth.

He has lost enough to stop confusing noise with presence.
Promises with facts.
Intensity with depth.

He is not cold.

He has survived enough to become precise.

And some people will call him distant,
simply because they can no longer reach him where he used to live.

She doesn't ask for the crown.
She earns it, one line at a time.

This is the Queen of Swords.

The first Minor Arcana of my tarot deck, drawn entirely in ink. No mercy. No softness. Just clarity, cold air, and a blade that cuts through everything that doesn't belong.

She holds a rose and a sword at once.
That's the whole point.

The deck is still in progress. But she's here now, and she already rules.

Save this card if the Queen of Swords has ever felt like home.

Cleopatra, breath held.
Gold peeled from the skin.
Eyes hollowed by night.

Three faces. One desire.
Victory sleeps elsewhere.
Ink tastes of salt and ash.

To lose.
To leave the field
before fate enters the flesh.
Paper shivers, opens.
A slow tearing.

What breaks learns desire.
Scars whisper to scars.
Cleopatra rises.

Not whole. Not gentle.
Standing in fragments.
Still. Forever queen.

Some tables hold more than they should.
Habits, silences, what’s been left behind.

It’s not the absence that hurts,
but the weight of what stays.

And one day, even a glass or a chair
is chosen over you.

Some tables speak louder than faces.
In the stillness of emptied glasses and half-read pages, presence reveals itself through absence.
An ashtray full, a lighter slipping off the edge, a figure fading into the background.
As if the table were doing all the talking.

This is one of my contemporary still lifes, fragments of the everyday where objects are caught mid-thought, on the verge of saying something.
But what?

What remains unsaid when everything has been carefully laid out?
