Every group has its own version of competition.

No two disc golfers play the same way.

Jonas, our co-founder, on a round he'd be playing whether or not he ran a disc golf app.

Ten years ago, three Helsinki disc golfers with coding skills started Upsi because they couldn't find an app that did the things they actually wanted — agree when and where to play, follow and comment on each other's rounds, keep score together.

So they built one. The app's grown up a bit since then — more players, more countries, more features.

Jonas still throws the same shot off the tee. Ten years of data and that hasn't changed. 🥏

An empty basket has a particular kind of quiet to it. Standing on the tee, looking down the fairway, you've got that same thought everyone has — "this one's staying out of the trees"

Some rounds, it does. Most rounds, it doesn't. But there's always tomorrow's round, and the friend who's already texting "you in?" before you've even arrived back home.

That's disc golf, really. The sport keeps pulling you back, but it's the people who make sure you actually show up. 🥏 🏆
