Finally the nasty bugs that are between our game and the windows store certification are all gone. Even thought couple new one appeared. Anyway now again we can say that the publishing day of the game is getting closer!

Hello people! Today is the day to meet the third member of our team! Say hi to Anssi.

Tell us briefly about yourself:
Hello everyone! My name is Anssi and I study usability and human centered technology at Tampere University of Technology. My job at IA is to make sure our games are fun to play and easy to get into. I spend most of my free time on my computer playing or coding or hanging out with my friends.

Why did you join the team?
I have played games as long as I remember and they have always been a big part of my life so I thought it would be awesome to make something I have a passion for with a group of many talented people. I also made some smaller games when I was a kid (with good ol' Qbasic) and thought it would be cool to make something bigger and better now.

Tell us in one sentence only, why everyone should be interested in Illegal Alien Studios?
Our talented team has fresh ideas that make gaming even more fun.

What is Your Hidden talent?
Delaying our projects by coming up with awesome new features that we totally must have in our games.

A game everyone should play?
This is a hard one but I'll say Cave Story. The game is a good example of games that do not shine through fancy graphics, huge special effects or massive game worlds. Cave Story is a platform-adventure game with great story, smooth gameplay and lovely music (I was amazed when I recognized that one of the songs in the game was actually remixed version of finnish dance "Letkajenkka")
If you have free time and think that you could enjoy the genre of the game I think you should definitely give it a try!

Introducing another Illegal Alien team member! Meet Aleksi:

Tell us briefly about yourself:
- My name is Aleksi and I'm studying embedded systems and project management at the TUT. I'm the guy who kicks the buts of the team when we need to meet or something is late. Believe it is sometimes quite often =). I'm also quite often the one who will be pitching or presenting our ideas when we decide to leave our comfy and dark flats. I also code specially when there is graphics to integrate.

Why did you join the team?
- I have always liked different games and sometimes thinking that what it could be to make them also. I also want more experience in project management so I saw that IA is a perfect opportunity.

Tell us in one sentence only, why everyone should be interested in Illegal Alien Studios?
- Our awesome work is definitely worth checking out!

What is Your Hidden talent?
- I can drink from a glass when laying on my back.

a Game everyone should play?
- There are quite many of those but I would say the first Portal. It is a game where has been done a lot with just game mechanics, few characters and the atmosphere. Also I have always liked puzzles. ;)
