SpaceTime, together with ConfidentialMind, is proud to support the Defence Hackathon 2026 by Junction x Aalto Defence.

Defence is physical, digital, distributed, and increasingly dependent on resilient infrastructure and secure data. Over 48 hours, teams will take on real-world challenges across AI, cyber, space, and autonomous systems, all critical areas shaping the future of defence and security in Europe.

SpaceTime's sales guns Heikki, Henri & Petri landed in Tampere last Friday for DG-Päivät. Great time networking and seeing familiar faces! For future reference: if you don't catch these masterminds at the main event, they will catch you at the afterparty and then again at the afterafterparty. Especially when in Tampere.

And wherever we go nowadays, one theme just keeps coming up across events: data and compute sovereignty and resilient infrastructure. As AI adoption accelerates and data volumes are high up in space, we provide the scalable storage with predictable costs to help businesses adopt AI in Finland, Spain and all across Europe.

Anyways, there couldn’t be a better time for SpaceTime’s mission, so MWC was a big success.

Data resilience is often measured with a simple question: Do we have backups? The real question today is whether those backups are truly beyond the attacker’s reach. Traditional backups, in fact, usually are not.

SpaceTime's 2025 recap (part 2). Couldn't fit everything in one post, so here's some snippets of our H2 🎉

1️⃣ Proud CTO posing between servers + Lego-cy man making sure your data stays safe in Finnish bedrock.

2️⃣ No one can disturb the SpaceTime webinar.

3️⃣ ALSO Group Expo in Nokia Arena was one of our year's highlights. Many good discussions and meetings, especially inside the infamous SpaceShuttle.

4️⃣ Hard work at the Expo might have taken a toll 💪

5️⃣ The SpaceShuttle Express was working non-stop during Slush while driving our friends around town in the SpaceTime car.

6️⃣ Henri was busy carrying his portable monitor. No leads are missed with that screen.

7️⃣ Working as an official technology provider for NATO technical demonstration in Riihimäki was amazing and very cold!

Thanks once more to our community and partners for the past year. It was great, we are working on making 2026 even better ❤️

Bringing your data back home during World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland this week 🏎️ Lots of events and interesting discussions around data sovereignty and European data independence. Yesterday we launched nukeproof.org to fight against the chokehold that hyperscalers have European data on and we could not have done it in a better time.
