Role Description
The Cloud Service Sales Engineer is a full-time on-site role located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The role involves managing technical discussions with prospective clients, conducting product demonstrations, and providing pre-sales technical support. The Sales Engineer will bridge the gap between technical solutions and customer requirements to help drive successful sales outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
โ Prospect for new business leads through multiple channels (cold outreach, networking, referrals)
โ Qualify and prioritize leads for maximum sales potential
โ Develop & execute targeted sales strategies for cloud solutions
โ Conduct product demonstrations and negotiate contracts
โ Provide exceptional post-sale support including client onboarding
โ Prepare invoices, follow payments, and reconcile with bank statements
โ Maintain and update CRM with accurate sales data
โ Collaborate with our technical team to ensure seamless customer experience
What we are Looking For
โข Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field
โข Minimum 2 years of sales/business development experience (technology industry preferred)
โข Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
โข Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
โข Familiarity with CRM systems and sales automation tools
โข Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts
โข Passion for delivering exceptional customer service

โข Location: Mexico Square, ALTA Building, 2nd Floor, Addis Ababa
โข Working Hours: Monday-Friday (8:30 AM - 5:30 PM), Saturday (8:30 AM - 12:00 PM)
