One month ago, we celebrated Marilyn Monroe’s centenary at LaChrome®️ with the Spanish premiere of an exclusive edition of eight previously unpublished photographs.

These remarkable images were captured by legendary photographer Allan Grant during Marilyn’s final interview with LIFE magazine, just two days before her passing. A unique visual testimony revealing an intimate, serene and deeply human Marilyn, far removed from the myth.

More than six decades later, this extraordinary archive has been recovered by Chris Flannery and Jason Greene (marilynslostphotos), restored and published by LaChrome®, and presented in Spain under the curatorship of Cristina Carrillo de Albornoz.

Hace un mes celebrábamos en LaChrome®️ el centenario de Marilyn Monroe con la presentación en España de una exclusiva edición de ocho fotografías inéditas.

Estas imágenes fueron realizadas por el legendario fotógrafo Allan Grant durante la última entrevista concedida por Marilyn a la revista LIFE, apenas dos días antes de su fallecimiento. Un testimonio único que nos descubre a una Marilyn íntima, serena y profundamente humana, muy alejada del mito.

Más de seis décadas después, este extraordinario archivo ha sido recuperado por Chris Flannery y Jason Greene (marilynslostphotos ), restaurado y editado por LaChrome®, y presentado en España bajo el comisariado de Cristina Carrillo de Albornoz.

In ‘Volver a Imaginar’ (Reimagining Again), the collective exhibition of PHotoESPAÑA 2026, Jon Gorospe presents an installation that invites viewers to reflect on the relationship between image, space, and territory.

Through projects such as The Grid and Polished Cities, the artist explores the tensions between nature, urban development, and representation, proposing a critical reading of landscape as a cultural construct.

The work is complemented by a video installation that expands the visual and spatial experience of the project.

The pieces were produced by LaChrome®️ using direct UV printing on brushed silver Dibond®, including the modular surface onto which the video installation is projected.

En ‘Volver a imaginar’ de PHotoESPAÑA 2026, Jon Gorospe presenta una instalación que invita a reflexionar sobre la relación entre imagen, espacio y territorio.

A través de proyectos como The Grid o Polished Cities, el artista analiza las tensiones entre naturaleza, urbanismo y representación, proponiendo una lectura crítica del paisaje como construcción cultural.

La obra se completa con una videoinstalación que amplía la experiencia visual y espacial del proyecto.

Las piezas han sido producidas por LaChrome®️ mediante impresión UV directa sobre Dibond® plata cepillado, así como la superficie modular sobre la que se proyecta la videoinstalación.

To mark the centenary of Marilyn Monroe, we take a closer look at one of the most compelling photographic exhibitions of the year, opened just two weeks ago at in Zaragoza: Marilyn Monroe: From the Peak of Fame to the Last Interview.

Curated in Spain by Cristina Carrillo de Albornoz and internationally promoted by 1962 MM LLC ( and ) , the exhibition brings together an extraordinary selection of photographs taken by Allan Grant during Marilyn Monroe’s final interview for magazine, published just two days before her death. The exhibition also features an outstanding selection of photographs from different stages of Marilyn’s life and career by Milton H. Greene.

More than six decades later, this remarkable body of previously unseen material comes back into the spotlight, revealing an intimate, spontaneous and deeply human Marilyn—far removed from the myth created by the industry and closer to the woman behind the icon.

For , it has been a privilege to be part of this international project, carrying out the editing, restoration, retouching and Fine Art printing of the images on Baryta Satin 300 gsm paper, both for the exhibition and for the internationally distributed collector’s edition.

A unique project that brings some of Marilyn Monroe’s final photographs into the present day and reminds us, through her own words, of the importance of looking beyond the legend.
