I recently heard a wise woman say “and there are many things we can live without, but we all need affection”.

That line has really stuck with me, and Bloom captures it so well. I’m finally sharing this project with you as .gi soft launches and I couldn’t be more excited and proud!

Growing up largely in Gibraltar, I know how difficult it can be to get accessible, luxurious, handmade bouquets to spread your love through.

So when Mollie told me her idea to build Gibraltars first digital flower studio, I had an immediate “this is amazing” feeling and I’m so glad to have worked as her brand designer on this 🫶🏼

I’m so grateful when projects come along that don’t just align with my values and style, but get me so motivated to challenge myself and give my all.

And to think that I’m lucky enough to be building a collection of exactly those kinds of projects with such wonderful people? It really warms my heart and confirms one of the big reasons why I to freelance in branding: to help these beautiful human beings make the world a better place, one dream at a time (as cringe as that may sound, idc) 🫶🏼

This client project was held much closer to my heart 🫶🏼 I’m very excited to finally introduce Brekker

This is a breakfast and brunch spot, that has just been opened by my in-laws, and I’m so so proud of their hard work and hopeful for their success!

It’s been a pleasure to do their branding and website and pour my heart into making sure everything feels right (and then to get such lovely compliments on it since they opened just under a week ago) ☺️

If you’re in Alicante (Spain), treat yourself to the most delicious food in the most comfortable, relaxing place and go visit them in El Campello. I can personally guarantee you’ll love it.

Every single January, I feel like the world collectively decides that it’s time to speed up.

I’ve fallen into it myself, buying a brand new planner or journal, making big and exciting new years resolutions, paying extra attention to the videos, posts or emails with titles like ‘new year, new you’.

We’re told that slowing down or even keeping our same pace means that we’re falling behind. Somehow, if I’m not pushing harder, I’m missing out, or lazy, or demotivated.

It makes me question why humans are so fast to do their own thing, because if you just look outside, you’ll see that we’re not meant to have all this energy right now.

The trees are bare, the animals are quiet, even the wind doesn’t have the excitiment it does in the warmer seasons.

Winter is about slowing down, so why do we measure our worth by how quickly we can ‘bounce back’ after the holidays, as if rest is something we have to recover from?

I stand by the idea that the new year starts in Spring. You may agree, or you may not. But if you’re feeling behind right now, this is your reminder that there’s nothing wrong with moving at your own pace, and that this season was made to be gentle and reflective, not rushed 🫶🏼
