ال Data link layer
وهي الطبقة رقم 2 في ال TCP/IP model
مسؤوليتها الاساسيه هي ال switching (التبديل )
بمعني نقل الباكيت من جهاز للجهاز اللي جمبه ودا اسمه hop to hop delivery
مش زي ال transport layer اللي بتنقل end to end delivery
طب النقل من جهاز للتاني بيعتمد علي ايه؟
بيعتمد علي عنوان اسمه ال MAC address
ودا هو العنوان المادي physical address لإنه بيبقي موجود علي كارت الشبكه وخاص بيه هو فقط
ف بعد ما طبقة ال network تخلص شغلها وتنتج packet
طبقة ال data link بتستلمها وتزود عليها mac الجهاز المرسل و mac الجهاز المستقبل و ساعتها ال packet تتحول ل Frame

الجهاز الاساسي اللي بينفذ مهمة الطبقة دي هو السويتش
و بيعتمد علي جدول اسمه جدول التوجيه switching table او الاسم الاشهر ليه mac-address table
الجدول دا السويتش بيخزن (learning ) فيه ال mac بتاع كل الاجهزه المتصله بيه لمدة 5 دقايق (300 ثانيه) وعلي اساسه هينقل الداتا (forwarding ) من جهاز للتاني
السويتش بيسجل العنوان بتاع الجهاز في حالة واحده وهي ان الجهاز دا يبعت داتا تعدي علي السويتش غير كدا ف الجهاز والعنوان بتاعه مجهولين بالنسبه للسويتش

Job description
•Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure across the Group's entities.
•Manage relationships with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) across all Group entities, including circuit provisioning, SLA monitoring, fault escalation, and bandwidth planning to ensure reliable connectivity across all sites
•Manage and harden firewall rules, VPN configurations, and network segmentation across all sites
•Lead the deployment and ongoing management of the Group SIEM platform and coordinate threat detection and incident response
•Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and pe*******on testing; oversee remediation of findings
•Produce security posture reports for the Group IT Director and senior stakeholders.
•Act as the primary point of escalation for network and security incidents across all entities.
Education
BSc in Network Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline from an accredited university.
Graduates of governmental universities are strongly preferred.
Experience
Experience within a multi-site or multinational organization is highly desirable.
Strong English communication skills are essential.
Certifications (preferred)
Cisco CCNP Enterprise (350-401 ENCOR)
Cisco CCNA Security or equivalent
Microsoft SC-200 - Security Operations Analyst
CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+ or equivalent.
Familiarity with SIEM platforms is a strong advantage
