Alexandria Salon for Petite Photography
(ASPP)
ORGANISER
(ASPP) is an international art salon; held every year by ADASA club for Photography, in Alexandria, Egypt, and under the name of the city because of its great historical stature
The Salon is for the art of photography and distinctive as a small Photography Salon; Because of its special boom due to its small and distinctive size, which is characterized by the salon in which all participating works, which will be presented in the exhibition will not be larger than 25 cm.
(ASPP) is Held under the patronage of the International Federation of the Art of Photography (FIAP )No. 2014/334, the Royal Photography Society (RPS)No. RPS 2014/46, the American Society of Photography PSA(PID, PTD), the International Union of Photographers (UPI) code L140075–M2G1S1B, the International Association of Photographers Art( IAAP)No. 2014/023.
All sections of the salon is indicated by the American Society of Photography PSA (PID, PTD), as well as all sections of the competition holds the patronage of the International Federation of the Art Photography FIAP.
All the accepted work in (ASPP) will be calculated at the American Society of Photography PSA in the rankings star-rating, Who's Who, also times of acceptances will be eligible for FIAP Distinctions (AFIAP, EFIAP and EFIAP levels)
PARTICIPATION
The photo salon is open to amateur and professional photographers from all over the world.
Entries must originate as photographs (image-captures of objects via light sensitivity) made by the entrant on photographic emulsion or acquired digitally.
By virtue of submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as his own and permits the sponsors to reproduce all or part of the entered material free of charge for publication and/or display in media related to the exhibition or organizing club. This may include low resolution posting on a website. The organizing jury has the right to don’t accept any entry which does not conform to exhibition’s rules and conditions.

ENTRY FEE
From all over the world: 1 Section just for 15 Euros, 2 Sections 25 Euros, 3 Sections for 30 Euros and all sections just for 35 Euros
From Egypt: 150 EGP for 1 section, 250 EGP for 2 Sections , 300 EGP for 3 Sections and 350 EGP for all sections
Salon Organizer provides a 25 Euros, 250 EGP Discount for individual photograhers whom have participated in all sections before 15th of September 2014, and 10 % for groups (more than 10 photographers) before 15th of August 2014

NUMBER AND IDENTIFICATION OF PHOTOS
to participate in (ASPP) authors will apply with Monochrome or color works.
Maximum number of photographs per section is 4 in total 20 photos in all sections No title or identification or watermark or any graphic sign of the maker shall be written anywhere on the face of an image.
Photographs are sent in digital form, as a JPEG file with dimension 25cm for the longest side at 300 dpi, maximum 4 MB.
Images may be altered, either digitally or otherwise, by the maker and artwork or computer graphics created by the entrant may be incorporated if the photographic content predominates
All the accepted works will be published in a printing exhibition, please write the dimensions of your work in order not to exceed the largest angle limit 25cm.
Exhibition management will not accept any images containing any n**e materials, and if we receive such images will be immediately excluded

NOTIFICATION & CATALOGUE
Notification cards will be sent by email.
All participants of the competition (the authors which submitted works and paid the participation fee) will receive a high quality printed catalogue.
Extra catalogues are also available at an extra fee of 20 Euros-200 Egyptian pounds.
Exhibition management will not be responsible for any damages and loses of the catalogs or the awards through the normal post service during shipment.
DEFINITIONS
Monochrome (FIAP)
A black and white work fitting from the very dark grey (black) to the very clear grey (white) is a monochrome work with the various shades of grey. A black & white work toned entirely in a single color will remain a monochrome work able to stand in the black & white category; such a work may be reproduced in black & white in the catalogue. On the other hand a black and white work modified by partial toning or by the addition of one color becomes a color work (polychrome) to stand in the color category.
Monochrome (PSA)
A monochrome image is defined as having varying shades of no more than one color (various shades of that color from very light to very dark) but it may be any single color. Multi-toned images (various shades of two or more colors) and gray scale images with added an accent color are not acceptable in Monochrome Class sections and must be entered in Color Class sections.
The Projected Image Division (PID) PSA
is a section which is responsible for conducting and overseeing PSA activities regarding projected (digital or slide) open or general subjects photography; there are no limitations on subject matter or techniques used for image capture or post processing. There are two PID Stars tracks Open Monochrome
The Projected Travel Division (PTD) PSA
a Photo Travel section image must express the feeling of a time and place, and portray a land, its distinctive features or culture in its natural state. There are no geographical limitations. Close-up pictures of people or objects must include distinguishable environment. Techniques that add to, relocate, replace or remove any element of the original image, except by cropping, are not permitted. All adjustments must appear natural. Conversion to full monochrome is acceptable. Derivations, including infrared, are unacceptable.

(ASPP)
المنظم
(ASPP)، هو صالون فنى دولى يقام كل عام بإدارة نادى عدسة للتصوير الفوتوغرافى فى مصر بمدينة الاسكندرية و ويحمل اسم المدينة لما لها من مكانة تاريخية عظيمة .
الصالون هو لفن الفوتوغرافيا ومميز بأنة صالون للفوتوغرافيا الصغيرة ، لما لها من رونق خاص لحجمها الصغير المميز والتى يتميز بها الصالون فى ان كافة الاعمال المشاركة والتى سوف تعرض فى المعرض لن يزيد حجمها عن 25 سم.
يقام (ASPP) تحت رعاية الاتحاد العالمى لفن التصوير الفوتوغرافى (FIAP )No. 2014/334, ، الجمعية الملكية للتصوير الفوتوغرافى (RPS)No. RPS 2014/46، الجمعية الامريكية للتصوير الفوتوغرافى PSA، إتحاد المصورين الدوليين (UPI) code L140075–M2G1S1B ، الجمعية الدولية لفن المصورين ( IAAP)No. 2014/023.
كل أقسام الصالون معرفة من الجمعية الأمريكية للتصوير الفوتوغرافى PSA (PID, PTD)، كذلك كل اقسام المسابقة حاصلة على رعاية الإتحاد العالمى لفن التصوير الفوتوغرافى FIAP.
كل الأعمال المقبولة فى (ASPP) سيتم حسابها فى الجمعية الأمريكية للتصوير الفوتوغرافى PSA فى تصنيفات star-rating ,Who’s Who كذلك سيتم احتساب مرات القبول فى الاتحاد العالمى للتصوير الفوتوغرافى FIAP للحصول على امتيازات المصورين الصادرة عنها (AFIAP, EFIAP and EFIAP).
الاشتراك
الصالون مفتوح للمصورين الهواة والمحترفين على حد سواء من جميع أنحاء العالم
يجب ان تكون المشاركات الفوتوغرافية منتجة من قبل المتقدمين بواسطة حساس ضوئى أو ألتقطت رقمياً
بمجرد الإشتراك فى المسابقة فهذا يعنى بإقرار المشترك بملكيته للعمل كذلك يعطى الحق للمنظم بإستخدام العمل أو أى جزء منه لأغراض النشر فى اى وسيلة من وسائل الإعلام المرتبطة بالحدث أو انشطة النادى المنظم وقد يتضمن ذلك نسخة منخفضة الجودة على موقع الكترونى ، للجنة التنظيمية الحق فى عدم قبول اى عمل ترى فيه عدم الإتفاق مع شروط المسابقة وقوانينها.
أقسام المسابقة
(A) قسم مفتوح ملون
(B) قسم مفتوح أحادى
(C) قسم تصوير الطبيعة (ألوان – أحادى)
(D) القسم تصوير السفر (ألوان – أحادى)
(E) القسم الشباب ( تحت 21 ) (ألوان – أحادى)
رسوم الاشتراك
من جميع دول العالم: 15 يورو للإشتراك فى قسم واحد، 25 يورو للإشتراك فى قسمين، 30 يورو للإشتراك فى 3 أقسام، 35 يورو للإشتراك فى جميع اقسام المسابقة .
القسم الرابع الخاص بالشباب المشاركة به مجانية .
من داخل مصر: للإشتراك فى قسم واحد 150 جنيه مصرى، للإشتراك فى قسمين 250 جنيه مصرى، للإشتراك فى ثلاثة أقسام 300 جنيه مصرى، وللإشتراك فى جميع أقسام الصالون 350 جنيه مصرى.
توفر إدارة الصالون خصم لكل المصورين المستقلين الذين قاموا بالاشتراك فى كل أقسام المسابقة 25 يورو – 250 جنيه مصرى قبل 15 اغسطس 2014، كذلك خصم لمجموعات التصوير و نوادى الكاميرا 10% بحد أدنى الاشتراك بـ 10 مصورين قبل 15 سبتمبر 2014.

مواصفات الملفات :
للإشتراك فى (ASPP) يسمح للمشاركين الاشتراك بأعمال أحادية أو ألوان
يتم التقدم بحد أقصى 4 أعمال فى القسم الواحد أى أنه مسموح الاشتراك بحد أقصى 20 عمل فوتوغرافى فى جميع أقسام المسابقة, ويرجى عدم إظهار هوية المتقدم على العمل نفسه عن طريق علامة مائية أو شعار جرافيكى
ترسل الأعمال فى هيئة ملف رقمى بأبعاد 3000 بيكسل للضلع الألكبر وجودة صورة 300 dpi بحد أقصى 4 ميجابايت
يسمح بقبول الأعمال المعدلة رقمياً، مثل أعمال الكمبيوتر جرافيكس المستخدم بها أجزاء فوتوغرافية قام بتصويرها المصور المتقدم.
(( جميع الاعمال المقبولة سوف تعرض فى معرض مطبوع )) برجاء كتابة مساحة طباعه الاعمال الحاصة بك على ان لا يزيد الضلع الاكبر عن 25 سم

كل المشاركين بالمسابقة ( المشارك الذى قام برفع اعماله و قام بدفع رسوم الاشتراك ) سوف يتسلم كتالوج مطبوع بجودة عالية، يتوافر ايضاً كتالوجات اضافية بتكلفة 20 يورو – 200 جنيه مصرى فقط
إدارة المعرض لن تتحمل مسؤلية اى ضرر واقع على الكتالوجات او الجوائز المرسلة عن طريق البريد العادى أثناء عمليةالشحن
تعريفات
الأحادى تحت قوانين FIAP
كل عمل فوتوغرافى يحتوى على تدرج من الرمادى الغامق جداً (الاسود) حتى الرمادى ناصع الصفاء (الابيض) فهو عمل أحادى اللون محتوى على ظلال عدة من الرماديات، و إذا كان عمل ابيض واسود مصبوغ تماماً بلون واحد فيبقى ذلك العمل أحادى اللون، ونستطيع بقول ان هذا العمل مندرج تحت فئة الابيض والاسود، مثل هذا العمل يمكن اعادة انتاجه بالابيض والاسود فى الكتالوج. على صعيد آخر، سوف يؤخذ بعين الاعتبار الأعمال المحتوية على صبغة جزئية فإنها تندرج تحت فئة الأعمال الملونة وليس الأعمال الابيض والاسود
الأحادى تحت قوانين PSA
تعرف الصور الأحادية على أنها صور فوتوغرافية تحتوى على ظلال لون واحد ليس أكثر من الدرجة الداكنة وحتى أسطع درجة، و الصور الفوتوغرافية التى تحتوى على العديد من من الدرجات الظلية لألوان عدة لا تعتبر صور أحادية اللون، أو حتى الصور الـ grayscale المضاف عليها مسحة لونية فهى لاتعتبر ايضاً صور أحادية ولا يتم قبولها فى قسم الأحادى ويجب الاشتراك بها فى قسم الملون.
تعريف (PID) PSA الصور الرقمية
هو قسم مسؤل عن أنشطة PSA المتعلقة بالصور الرقمية أو الشرائح المفتوحة او العامة لا يوجد بها اى حدود تحدد موضوع الصور المقدمة أو التقنيات المستخدمة لإنتاج العمل الفوتوغرافى أو التقاطه.
تعريف قسم السفر تحت قوانين ((PTD) PSA)
يتم التعبير فى صور قسم السفر عن احساس المكان و الزمان، ورسم تصور أو وصف لأرض معينة، من حيث ملامحها المميزة و ثقافتها على حالتها الطبيعية، ولا توجد حدود جغرافية لهذه الأعمال الفوتوغرافية.
صور البورتريه المقربة جداً Close-up يجب ان تحمل بيئة مميزة، التقنيات المستخدمة فى العمل الفوتوغرافى مثل الاضافة، إعادة الموضعة، التبديل أو الحذف من العمل الفوتوغرافى الأصلى غير مسموح به، يجب أن تظهر كل التعديلات بصورة طبيعية، تحويل الصورة الى الحالة الاحادية مسموح به.
