Meet Ampron Monitoring

Developed for our customers to monitor displays built by us.

Know every screen is showing the right thing, from inside your own network.

Ampron Monitoring is being packaged to run on your own server, next to your own system. It watches every Ampron display in your fleet, checks the content as well as the connection, and keeps the outage record your service agreement is measured on.

We use it for monitoring of Estonian Railway displays that we are bound to provide support with SLA. It has also detailed SLA calculations in it.

Software for Ampron display fleets: checks each screen shows the right content, tells a feed fault from a display fault, and keeps the outage record your SLA is measured on.

Every passenger screen on the Lithuanian Railways project came from one supplier: us.

That covered platform totems, double-sided screens under canopies, screens in underground passages, vandal-resistant screens in station halls, and the control-room video walls. We delivered them in 2022 as subcontractor to the main contractor. They run our AmpronLED player.

Before delivery, BST Testing checked the hardware against the railway standards the tender named: EMC, electrical safety, ingress protection and impact.

From our workshop to the Old City Harbour.

Every vehicle boarding a ferry in Tallinn’s Old City Harbour is read, measured and weighed on the way in. Plate recognition and weigh-in-motion data go straight into Nortal’s Smart Port system, and the moment that data is ready, the driver’s gate, terminal and place in the queue appear on an Ampron LED board in front of them. No radio call and nobody waving from a booth.

About 170 of our boards do that job across Terminals A and D, in five formats: overhead portals, check-in and direction boards, lane boards in the collection area, loading-area boards and roof-edge lane lightboxes. Terminal A went live in 2016 and Terminal D during 2017. Since 2022 our DR Series units have been the replacements.

The hard part was never the pixels. It was taking live data from someone else’s software without anyone touching it, and staying readable in Baltic harbour weather, winter after winter.

The display should fit the project, not the other way around.

No two infrastructure projects are exactly the same.

The location, viewing distance, mounting conditions, content requirements and existing systems can all be different.

That is why Ampron display solutions can be adapted to the real operating environment. This can include the display size and brightness, mounting, software and integrations.

Customisation does not always mean creating everything from scratch. It means making proven technology work for the customer’s actual needs.

From Estonia to Thailand.

Thailand is a price-conscious market with many lower-cost alternatives, so it is not always the easiest place for a European manufacturer to compete.

But this customer was not simply looking for the cheapest display.

They were looking for a reliable solution that could meet their actual operational needs.

They found Ampron - and chose our LED display system for their container terminal in Thailand.

Visibility is not just about brightness.

When choosing outdoor or infrastructure displays, brightness is important - but it is not the whole story.

Real readability depends on many factors:

• viewing distance
• viewing angle
• sunlight and weather conditions
• anti-glare protection
• font size
• content contrast
• installation position

A display can have high brightness, but if the information is hard to read in real conditions, it does not solve the problem.

For ports, airports, railways and industrial sites, visibility means one thing:

The right information must be clear at the right moment.

That is why we design display systems based on the environment and how people actually use the information.

Reliability is not proven on installation day.
