We are a growing business, helping our clients with cutting edge technology solutions, based on custom made business system solutions and system integrations between third party systems. Our company is based in Scandinavia, and our team extends to a growing list of countries.

Your typical day at work:
As a Developer at VikingC you will be working with our entire team of developers.
Your time will primarily be focused on developing system integrations between Warehouse Management Systems and ecommerce platforms, and you will therefore have very undisturbed and dedicated development time during everyday work. You will have the necessary time set aside to solve tasks to perfection, as we take pride in delivering a high quality product.
You can work from home all days, or if you are near any of our offices (Klaipeda/Lithuania and Sarajevo/Bosnia), feel free to also work from there. Your timezone must be in CEST +/- 3 hours in order to work roughly at the same time as the rest of the team.
Your profile:
You love to develop and work with open source, are versatile and have an easy time getting acquainted with new technologies. It is natural for you to work independently, and you are used to putting quality and thoroughness as first priority in your work.
You have experience with Test Driven Development and like working in a small company where there is room for your own ideas, quick decision time and where anything is possible.
Your background and skills in programming might come from a university degree or simply from being self-taught because you love programming. We do not set requirements on your education as long as you love what you do - and therefore are highly skilled in doing it.
- You have 5+ years of JAVA development experience.
- You 2+ years experience with API integrations
- You have experience with using the Spring Boot JAVA framework
- You understand that great things are accomplished when people and teams work together and make an effort to communicate and align expectations.
- You understand modern web architectures and tiers.
- You have a solid understanding of security best practices.
- You take pride in your craft.
- You have made (a lot of) mistakes and most importantly have learned from them.
- You have worked on projects that have gone to production and lived there for a while.
