Meet Andy, our man of many talents and even more hobbies - and EVEN more curls in his hair.
On any given weekend, you’ll find him either covered in engine oil tuning a classic bike, or dressed in period-accurate leather defending a medieval village.
He’s essentially a modern-day knight, though his 'steed' happens to have 100 horsepower and a custom exhaust. Whether he’s troubleshooting a bug in the system or a carburetor issue, Andy approaches everything with the focus of a man on a legendary quest.
By day, he’s a dedicated Product Specialist in our Customer Success team, expertly navigating tech support cases and onboarding to our platform. But when the clock strikes four on Friday, he’s more into cars, motorcycles and live action role play (LARP) with his friends.
As a trained IT-supporter, Andy was looking for a job after his education, and what should've been a job for a year or so, has turned into an eight year long employment, and he’s not going anywhere any time soon.
“I love that you get a lot of responsibility for your work. You can take a customer from A to Z, from when they just heard about us to fully onboarded with integrations and automated workflows. It’s really cool being a part of something that makes a difference for people in their daily work. Shipmondo is not just the next cool thing, it’s actually creating real value and we do it in a way no one else does”, Andy says.
“Personally I’m not good at sitting still, and at Shipmondo there’s always something new happening. New releases, new integrations, new support cases. And you can take care of a problem through the whole journey until it’s fixed. We got the customer in focus, and I like that a lot”, he says.
And(y) there you have it, a portrait of one of our most Shipmondo experienced employees. Making sure everything work, when you contact us.
