Peter Mariager joins Gatehouse Satcom to drive 5G NTN innovation

A Royal Visitor at Gatehouse Satcom

Today, we were thrilled to welcome Prince Joachim of Denmark to our headquarters in Nørresundby, Denmark. This visit was arranged during one of our earlier meetings in Washington, where Prince Joachim has been doing a phenomenal job serving as the Defense Industry Attaché at the Danish Embassy.

Prince Joachim and his excellent team (Dennis Armand Vad, Mathias Nielsen & Gustav Jæger) have all played a vital role in our engagement with major defense clients in the U.S., and his insightfulness and professionalism have made him an outstanding advocate for Gatehouse Satcom and our sister company, Gatehouse Maritime.

During today’s visit, Kenney Schmidt Christiansen, Ole Madsen, Jesper Noer and Jørgen Brøndgaard Nielsen had the honor of showing Prince Joachim and his team around our facilities, including a tour of our Space Lab, where we showcased our 5G NTN development environment and demonstrated our advanced satellite communication test tools. These tools are becoming increasingly crucial with the rising use of unmanned vehicles, such as drones.

Following the tour, we held a productive meeting, showcasing our offerings to the defense industry while being updated on current affairs in the U.S. by Prince Joachim and his team.
