Twice a year, 𝗖𝗔𝗗 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿, Solid System Team and Smap3D come together at our group headquarters in Nittendorf near Regensburg, Germany, for a shared company meeting week. This August, we were particularly happy to welcome several new colleagues in person together.

Over the course of the week, colleagues from across all three companies shared current developments, customer projects and topics from their areas of expertise. Workshops and discussions offered plenty of opportunities to exchange knowledge, learn from one another and gain insights beyond our own day-to-day work. Artificial intelligence, a topic that is currently high on the agenda across our industry, was also explored from different angles. Our management team also looked back on the first half of the year and shared the priorities and objectives for the months ahead.

But our company meetings are about more than workshops and presentations. Go-karting, dinner together, climbing and an escape room challenge gave us plenty of opportunities to spend time together outside the meeting room as well.

A great week that once again showed how important personal exchange and shared experiences are alongside the professional topics on the agenda.

The first update for the new major release primarily expands the possibilities around classification and adds further tools for administration and support.

Classification characteristics can now be published as properties and used, for example, in drawing title blocks. In addition, suggested values can be defined for characteristics and documents can be classified directly during import.

Furthermore, the Metadata Miner now enables targeted extraction of metadata from individual documents, while the Log Reader supports even better analysis in the event of an issue. Further minor optimizations are also included.

Twice a year, the employees from the Solid System Team, Smap3D and 𝗖𝗔𝗗 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 come together in person to exchange experiences, learn from one another and discuss important topics.

During last week’s company meeting, we were especially pleased to welcome 𝟭𝟮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀 to our group while also celebrating several important anniversaries:
𝗧𝗶𝗺 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲 and 𝗧𝗶𝗺 𝗗𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗰𝗵 from our sales department marked 10 years with the companies, and our IT specialist 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘁𝘁 celebrated an impressive 25-year anniversary. 👏

Alongside valuable personal exchange, the week included 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 to deepen knowledge and strengthen collaboration across teams.

For our CAD Partner team, the week also provided the perfect opportunity to 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, including the next steps for 𝗣𝗗𝗠 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 and 𝗕𝗢𝗠 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼. These sessions focused on new features, improved workflows and how we can continue supporting our customers’ engineering teams with efficient product data and life cycle management.

We ended the week with a 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, enjoying great conversations and reflecting on an inspiring time together. We are already looking forward to our next company week in August and are excited for the months ahead.
