My first reduction linoleum print is done: 4 layers in a one-minute video. I am not 100% satisfied with the result, but you never stop learning. I wish you all a great Sunday evening! ☀️

The carving has begun... Matching the jungle theme - this time with a turquoise coloured background to better see where I still have to carve. 🤘🏻
🇩🇪 Das Schnitzen hat begonnen... Passend zum Dschungel Thema - diesesmal mit türkis eingefärbtem Hintergrund, um besser sehen zu können wo ich noch schnitzen muss. 🤘🏻

New project in progress. A fictional antique shop with a nice shop window and brick facade. I thought the name "Pretty Little Pleasures" would fit quite well. It makes you want to search for little treasures hidden inside. Or what do you think? 🙂
🇩🇪 Neues Projekt in Arbeit. Ein fiktiver Antiquitätenladen mit hübschem Schaufenster und Backsteinfassade. Ich dachte mir der Name "Pretty little pleasures" würde ganz gut passen. Da bekommt man Lust nach kleinen Schätzen zu suchen, die sich darin verstecken. Oder was meinst du? 🙂

Half of the week is done - that's why today there is an entertaining time-lapse video of the last printing round in the usual DIY manner. Turn on the sound and have fun. 😃🔊🎬 But don't laugh - sometimes I use a rolling pin for pressing. I know it's not really professional, but I handle it carefully and find it quite useful. 🙄
🇩🇪 Die Hälfte der Woche ist geschafft - darum gibt es heute ein kurzweiliges Zeitraffer-Video der letzten Druckrunde in gewohnter DIY Manier. Macht den Ton an und habt Spaß. 😃🔊🎬 Aber nicht lachen - ich nutze manchmal ein Nudelholz zum pressen. Ich weiß, es nicht wirklich professionell, aber ich gehe damit vorsichtig um und finde es durchaus nützlich. 🙄

Time for new linocut experiments. In the coming weeks I want to focus on realistic motifs. I plan to take you on a visual (linocut) world trip and show you places I have been or would like to be one day. 🌍 I think that will be exciting... But I want to start with a very special sight very close to where I live. I will tell you more about this place tomorrow...😃
🇩🇪 Zeit für neue Linolschnitt-Experimente. In den kommenden Wochen möchte ich mich auf realistische Motive fokussieren. Ich habe vor euch mit auf eine visuelle (Linolschnitt) Weltreise zu nehmen und euch Orte zu zeigen an denen ich bereits war oder an denen ich gerne eines Tages mal gewesen sein möchte. 🌍 Ich denke das wird spannend... Anfangen möchte ich aber mit einer ganz besonderen Sehenswürdigkeit ganz in der Nähe meines Wohnortes. Zu diesem Ort erzähle ich dir morgen mehr... 😃

And there it is - the finished print! Yay... I find it very atmospheric... In the next few days I will take pictures of it and put it in my new (honestly very, very empty 🙄) Etsy Shop... Maybe there are some lovers out there who are still looking for a suitable present for their loved one. 💕
🇩🇪 Und da ist er nun - der fertige Druck! Juhu... Ich find ihn sehr stimmungsvoll... In den kommenden Tagen werde ich ihn noch fotografieren und in meinen neuen (ehrlich gesagt sehr, sehr leeren 🙄) Etsy Shop einstellen... Vielleicht gibt es ja ein paar Verliebte da draußen, die noch ein passendes Geschenk für den oder die Liebste suchen. 💕

And there it is now - the finished print... I could still work on it for hours - but at some point I have to suppress my perfectionist side and come to the end. 🙄 Otherwise I will never finish... Haha ok people, hand up - which one of you is so perfectionistic and always wants everything to be perfect? 😅🤪
🇩🇪 Und da ist er nun - der fertige Druck. Ich könnte trotzdem noch stundenlang daran weiterarbeiten - aber irgendwann muss ich meine perfektionistische Seite unterdrücken und zum Ende kommen. 🙄 Ansonsten werde ich ja nie fertig... Haha ok Leute, Hand hoch - wer von euch ist auch so perfektionistisch und will immer alles perfekt haben? 😅🤪
