NTT has achieved a world-record continuous operation of 350 hours in artificial photosynthesis using a semiconductor photocatalyst they developed. This surpasses the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) fixed by a single cedar tree in one square meter over approximately one year. Moving forward, through outdoor tests and other means, NTT aims to establish this as a CO2 reduction technology utilizing solar energy, contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.

We are planning to exhibit this artificial photosynthesis technology in Germany.
