Founded in 2013 by Spandana Gopal, Tiipoi is a British-Indian design house and brand based between London and Bangalore. The brand’s name derives from teapoy, a 3-legged stool that was appropriated across the western world during the reign of the British Raj, and evokes the functionality at the heart of their design concept. With a range of homewares, textiles, and decor, Tiipoi is committed to locally and ethically sourced materials. They collaborate with craftsman across India with a focus on black pottery, metal spinning, wood turning, glass blowing and textile weaving.
