The typeface Pakatel takes inspiration from the Dutch music scene from the late 1970s to the 1990s, a time when connection to the club community often mattered more than readability. A distinctive feature of Pakatel is its embedded diacritics, which are engineered to facilitate both horizontal and vertical typesetting by integrating accents within the letterforms, thereby preserving the integrity of the overall layout. [EN] The font 007-Grotesk was created in support of Club 007 Strahov. It contains 1496 characters and is designed for the typesetting of monthly programs. However, it can be used as a full-blooded headline font for posters. The narrow proportions help the typesetting of long headlines while maintaining full legibility even at the smallest size.

For the price of one weekend shashulada (party) from the Žižkov lab (40 €) you can buy a nice and functional font. And what's more, you will support the best and longest running club in Prague.
