Resør Electronics

Resør Electronics All of our Rotary DJ Mixers are fully Engineered, and Hand-crafted in our Studio in Berlin Aleks

We are based in the heart of Berlin, where our much-loved mixers are hand-made to order. While we are usually quite busy, we are always eager to meet you and chat about rotaries and sound. Our designs are entirely original and are not based on anything already seen or heard before. From the discrete Class-A circuitry to the choice of materials for both aesthetics and function, resør maintains recognisable and unique identity, proudly preserving the transparent sound signature in a most pleasing way. If you have any questions, ideas for a custom project, need advice on the perfect mixer design, or just want to say hello, please reach out to us.

A space built around coffee and sound.

At POLY Yeonhui in Seoul, the interior works from a restrained palette: stainless steel, soft greys, natural materials. Furniture by FRAMA, a custom speaker system by Arda Audio, and the resør 3300 at the centre of it — coffee, design, and sound sharing the same room.

It’s s the kind of collaboration we care about. Working with individuals and studios that understand design and analog culture.

Our step-by-step series continues, this time with the rear panel. Starting with the RCA connectors, .am.hj walks us through mounting the switches and grounding pots, before soldering and wiring each connection to the preamp, power supply and main board. It takes many small steps to build a resør from start to finish. Stay tuned for the next one. 🔧

A Dialogue with Sound

A quiet room for listening — four days at Atemporal during CURRENTS Berlin.

Most music gets heard while we’re doing something else. Here it’s the only thing happening. Give a record your full attention and it gives something back. That’s the dialogue.

Local artists, labels and friends are joining us across the days with their own selections, and Aleks will be hosting throughout, playing from his own collection through resør’s new hi-fi sound system, heard in full for the first time.

Come and sit with us for a while.

A look inside with . We visited the DJ, producer and label owner in his studio to get a glimpse into his way of working, the instruments he uses and the music he is making. We also spoke about the role of analog equipment in his process, from producing to playing out, and how the resør 2525 fits into his setup. We hope you enjoy the interview. ☺️

A quiet hour, a fresh coffee, and a bag of Mundorf MCaps.

These go into the phono section. The most delicate part of the signal path, where the needle’s tiny signal first becomes sound. Better capacitors here mean less noise and more of the record, exactly as it was cut.

This is most of what building a resør actually looks like. Slow, by hand, in Berlin and nowehere else ;)

A room, some records, and the people who came to listen.

Still reminiscing about this one. Vinyl Day at stocubo , a warm evening of records, good company, and the first public outing for our full system, from mixer to speakers. Thank you to adyam | ኣዲያም and Dimitra Zina , who filled the room with sound.

That little click you hear when you turn the CUE k**b? That’s this.

Soldering a relay onto the channel PCB of the 3300 FX. It sits in the CUE section, handling pre-fade listening, letting you cue a track in your headphones.

We use a relay instead of a cheaper switch for one reason: it routes the audio cleanly, without compromising the signal. A little detail you can hear 🙃

Built by hand in Neukölln, Berlin.
