We finally received the mass-producible sample of Damascus aluminum last month.
It survived every extreme test, but the final cost explained exactly why this material is so rare. It costs 15 times more than standard aluminum.
We originally only planned to make a few artisans with it. But after weighing our options, we decided to bite the bullet and put this 15x cost directly into the chassis of the Dry Studio Battleye R2.

The Damascus aluminum Battleye R2 arrives in late June.

This also got us wondering, are there any excellent examples of Damascus aluminum being used on keyboards out there🤔

The final Hatchback covers for Infinity.97 mouse have landed at the facility!

If you look closely at the structure, the magnet fixation is completely different from the early testing samples. We decided to use ultrasonic welding to embed the magnets directly inside the cover.

This method costs us a lot more to produce, but it means no exposed magnets, a much better lifespan, and absolutely zero chance of the magnets falling out during use. All about getting the hardware right!
