Important Notice: 2% Consumption Tax Adjustment for Lithium-Ion Batteries

Dear Partners and Customers,

Please be informed that, pursuant to Announcement No. 20 of 2026 issued by the Ministry of Finance, General Administration of Customs, and State Taxation Administration of China, a 2% consumption tax on lithium-ion batteries will take effect from September 1, 2026.

To ensure a smooth transition, please take note of the following:

📌 Orders completed by August 31, 2026
Orders for which delivery, payment, and invoicing are all completed by August 31 will remain at the originally confirmed prices.

📌 Orders pending after September 1, 2026
For orders that have not completed all three processes by August 31, an additional 2% policy-related cost will apply from September 1.

Many battery assemblers get confused about full-tab cells, especially polarity during welding. Let’s break it down in plain words.

1.Metal cell can (outer shell) = Negative pole
Do NOT weld conductive strips to the shell — this will short the cell immediately.
2.Full-tab jelly roll (inner winding core)
The entire edge of electrode foils works as conductive tabs. It creates lower resistance, less heat, and supports high power output for drones.
3.Bottom negative collector plate
Links the inner negative foil to the metal shell to transfer heavy current.
4.Insulated top cap = Positive pole
A plastic gasket separates this cap from the metal shell, so it won’t short.
Inside the cap set includes multiple safety parts:
Pressure relief vent: Releases gas if internal pressure spikes to avoid swelling or explosion
CID safety cut-off: Breaks the circuit automatically during overcharge or overheating
Filling hole: For injecting electrolyte, fully sealed after production
5.Plastic insulating gaskets
Act as a barrier between positive cap and negative shell to prevent short circuits.
