China International Optoelectronic Exposition(CIOE), is the world’s largest optoelectronic exhibition

Founded in 1999, China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE) is the largest and most influential show of its kind in the world. There are 6 concurrent specialized expositions under one roof and they are Information and Communication Expo, Lasers Technology & Intelligent Manufacturing Expo, Infrared Applications Expo, Precision Optics, Lens & Camera Module Expo, Optoelectronic Sensor Expo,

and Photonics Innovation Expo. It also has its own publication known as China Optoelectronics magazine, which covers the latest focus of the industry, in-depth analysis on technologies, products and market trends, CEO interviews, as well as the news of the optoelectronics industry and the regular updates on CIOE. The 22nd edition of CIOE in 2020 had concluded on a high note with a total of 2,512 exhibitors and 89,294 visitors. 6 International Pavilions were also presented namely Canada, Denmark, Germany, Japan, Lithuania and United States. There were a total of 50,547 visitors, covering 9 application industries like Optical Communication, Information Processing and Storage, Advanced Manufacturing, Consumer Electronics, Energy, Defense and Security, Semiconductor Processing and Manufacturing, Medical, Lighting and Display, Sensing and Measurement. 🔥 : China's Semiconductor Market Poised to Surpass $800 Billion in 2026, Fueled by AI

The AI revolution is reshaping the global semiconductor landscape, and China is emerging as a dominant force. According to new data from Omdia's Q2 2026 report, China's semiconductor market is projected to grow by an astounding 92.9% year-on-year, reaching $812.08 billion this year.

The key driver? Massive AI infrastructure buildouts. The Computing & Data Storage segment alone is expected to surge by 126%, accounting for nearly 63% of the entire application market.
