How to Fix Can’t Find Router IP & Unable to Log into Router Web Interface

Any router **cannot be found by searching for an IP address in a browser directly**.

To log into the router’s web page, first check your network adapter IP address. It must be **in the same subnet** as the router’s gateway.

If they are **not in the same subnet**, there are two reasons:
1. The router’s gateway IP was changed. You must use the **updated gateway IP** to log in.
2. The router’s cables are connected incorrectly, and it is receiving an IP from another device’s DHCP server. Please correct the wiring:
Connect the cable to the **LAN/WAN port** and **disconnect all cables from the router’s LAN ports**.

# Important Guidelines for Using AP Mode
1. Your primary router must use **DHCP** for network assignment. AP mode does not work with static IP or PPPoE connections.
2. Connection setup: Connect the Ethernet cable from your main router to this device’s **WAN port**.
3. Once AP mode is enabled, this router will no longer assign IP addresses to connected devices. All IPs will be issued by your main router. You will also lose direct access to this router’s web management page — factory reset is required to log in again.

1. The main router is not set to DHCP, causing devices unable to get valid IP addresses.

If you know your WiFi password, can connect your phone to the WiFi network, and own the router admin login password, you can easily change your WiFi password using only your mobile phone, no computer required.

Simply connect your phone to the target WiFi, launch any mobile browser, and sign in to the router management interface at 192.168.16.1 . Navigate to Wireless Settings, then modify and save your new WiFi password directly.
