A: Early SSD does not support this feature, and therefore may be detected abnormal, but to eliminate this concern, if the product is detected out of health alert, it is recommended to contact customer service for further confirmation. Q:Why the BIOS can't detect the drive?
A:There may be the following

reasons:
a. The component are damaged because of wrong input-voltage;
b. Q:How to backup the data? How long can I keep the data? A:All storage media, including CD, hard disk, SSD are not permanent storage. And we suggest you to backup the data to several drive to decrease the risk. Q:Do we need to format the new SSD? Which format will be better? A:You need to format the new SSD first, and we suggest you take NTFS format under Windows OS. Q:The OS prompt the SSD is not formatted once the SSD connected. A:It is the normal prompt message if it is the first time installation. If the SSD has been used for a while, please contact with Customer Service for the solution if the SSD has been well-fixed. Q:What should we do if the transfer speed is down?
A:Please contact with Customer Service for the solution.

DDR6 Finalized — Twice the Speed for Next-Gen AI & HPC

DDR6 memory has been officially finalized, marking one of the most exciting leaps in DRAM technology in years. With data transfer speeds nearly double those of DDR5, DDR6 promises to transform the way we power AI, high-performance computing (HPC), data centers, and advanced desktops.

Key Highlights

1. Double the Speed & Bandwidth
DDR6 debuts with base speeds around 8,800 MT/s, with the capacity to reach up to 17,600 MT/s in overclocked configurations—nearly double the baseline of DDR5.
Standard modules are expected to achieve 12,800 MT/s, with higher-end modules hitting up to 16,800 MT/s.
Bandwidth per DIMM could exceed 134 GB/s—an enormous gain for memory-intensive workloads.

2. Architectural Overhaul
DDR6 introduces four 24-bit sub-channels per DIMM, compared to DDR5’s two 32-bit channels, significantly enhancing parallelism and throughput.
Memory banks increase to 64, offering a major boost in efficiency compared with DDR4.

3. CAMM2: The New Form Factor
Traditional DIMM slots are approaching their physical limits. DDR6 addresses this with the CAMM2 (Compression Attached Memory Module 2) form factor—offering higher density, lower impedance, and a more compact design.
CAMM2 will likely debut in server platforms and later in high-end laptops and PCs.

4. Timeline & Ecosystem Rollout
The DDR6 draft standard was finalized in late 2024, with LPDDR6 following in 2025.
Platform testing and validation are expected in 2026.
Mass adoption is anticipated around 2027, starting with AI servers, HPC deployments, and premium computing platforms.

5. Why It Matters for AI & HPC
DDR6’s doubled throughput and enhanced efficiency unlock significant performance advantages for:
AI training and inference workloads, where memory bandwidth is a key bottleneck.
HPC clusters, which require rapid access to large datasets.
Cloud and enterprise servers, benefiting from lower latency and higher capacity.

Final Thoughts
DDR6 sets the stage for memory that fundamentally outpaces its predecessor—not just in raw speed, but in architectural intelligence and form factor innovation. While mainstream adoption may still be a couple of years away, organizations designing AI infrastructure or HPC systems should start preparing now to take advantage of DDR6’s performance leap.

Memory & Flash Market Watch – August 2025

DRAM
Contract prices for DDR5 are rising modestly, while DDR4 remains tighter than expected as suppliers rebalance output.
HBM continues to dominate, with vendors booked into 2026. SK hynix is leading share, while Samsung works through delays and Micron prepares its HBM4 ramp.

NAND Flash
Prices are broadly stable, with strength in AI servers and enterprise storage.
PC and smartphone demand remains cautious.
Industry focus remains on joint venture strategies and disciplined capex.

AI Era Capacity
HBM4 capacity could reach around 400k units by year-end, feeding demand for Nvidia’s next-gen accelerators. HBM4 and HBM4E roadmaps into 2026 support long-term bandwidth and pricing growth.

Company Highlights
Micron raised guidance on the back of stronger DRAM and HBM momentum.
Outlook (Sep–Nov 2025)

DRAM: DDR5 and server demand stays firm; DDR4 and GDDR6 remain tight.
HBM: Upward pricing bias continues due to packaging and yield constraints.
NAND: Sideways to slightly higher for enterprise SSDs, stable for client SSDs and handsets.

Buyer Takeaways
Secure critical DDR5/server DRAM and LPDDR5X with forward commitments.
Stagger NAND purchases, prioritising enterprise SSDs tied to AI and storage builds.
Track supplier shifts as new HBM qualifications roll out late 2025 into 2026.

Analysis of semiconductor market in March 2025: Keyword [Pull up]

FLASH original factory reduced production and superimposed supply reduction. After the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, there was less spot inventory. Domestic big players simultaneously pulled up, and USB/TF/SSD all showed an upward trend; DRAM went the other way, with a sluggish and slow decline after the New Year; focusing on demand is the core of the market trend, and the inventory level in the spot market is relatively low.

SSD:
Due to the low inventory of FLASH wafers, particles, and PCBA channels, the market reacts sensitively to a slight shortage, and SSD instantly pulled up and was out of stock; the upward market is centered on funds and resources, and the future market will rise more and fall less.

DRAM:
The decline in server memory chain D4 started the year weakly, and it is rumored that the original factory intends to stop production of D4; the D5 market is still based on the supply of the original factory.

Semiconductor market analysis in February 2025: Keywords [Original factory production reduction]

After the Lunar New Year, the effect of original factory DRM/FLASH production reduction gradually emerged, and the original FLASH wafers maintained and increased in price. The domestic top brands also increased in price. The inventory in the spot market was low, and USB/TF/SSD all showed an upward trend; DRAM went the other way, with a sluggish and slow decline after the New Year; the demand in the new year is still the driving force for the development of the market, and the inventory level in the spot market is low.

SSD:
The inventory level of FLASH wafers, particles, and PCBA is low, which makes the market development extremely sensitive. After the original factory reduced production, it took a tough attitude and controlled the supply. The low-priced inventory in the spot market was relatively scarce, and the large-capacity stock rose sharply; under the upward market control, the funds and inventory determined the sales rhythm of each company, and the market performance was normal.

DRAM:
DRAM manufacturers control D5 and switch to HBM production, which are both good for DRAM, but the power of the disassembly market is weak since the beginning of the year (the original manufacturer has already lost control of D4); in 2025, as D5 becomes popular, the DRAM market will still develop regularly with the supply rhythm of the original manufacturer.
